"We had two clear penalties not given. One when a header was stopped with a hand, and one on Troy Deeney in the first half. "And it's not the first time it's happened. It looks like they are enjoying themselves when they do not give us anything. "It's not the first time and we are missing points that would have made a big difference. It's game after game. ""It looks like the play-offs for us, although the maths don't say that yet." He should be done for disrepute charges for making accusations like that!!!
A better manager would have walked the league with that team, I wouldn't be surprised if he is under serious pressure if they miss out on promotion all together.
A lot of owner are only interested in success, not near misses. A few managers will be made redundant in the next month.
Possibly so, but not with creating a brand new starting XI from nothing though. If this team had played together for a year or two maybe so, but not having to sign them all, bed them in, learn a new language, settle into a new country its really not that easy.
I went to the game. Yes, he was miffed but I don't think he's justified really. The hand ball was one of those "well, I've seen 'em given" but it was no way deliberate. Even the Millwall fans I sat around said they thought he'd hand-balled it. The other one didn't seem worth a shout. Frankly Millwall were awful in the first half, but Watford didn't really look like scoring... I think everyone's feeling the pressure at the moment
Come to think of it, every game of ours the stats say we should have won. How often has it been something like 20 to 4 shots and we go down 0:1
