If TigersCave had a knife on him, he should have cut it's legs off. Then it would have been still a one eyed deer.
Not a lover of cycling, although it is a key part of the triathlon, which I enjoy watching, these days. Can't help but admire their (cyclists) fitness levels, even though it is blighted by drugs.
Got feel for the Polish rider Maciej Bodnar yesterday who was in the break away, was out front for 200 Kilometres only to be caught 250 metres from the line.
As you probably know I do enjoy cycling these days, and particularly on some of the climbs. the physical effort is punishing. Even though I never condone it, you can in a way see why in the beginning it did creep into cycling, because of the physical effort it takes.
Fabulous Pyrenean stage today. Considered taking the day off work to watch it - Froome will be monstrous today, I predict.
I suspect we're on drugs anyway to go and sit on a razor blade for hours at a time thumping it up a hill...
Well that was a turn up, but what a brutal day, Landa had better legs that Froome. Still a long way to go though, but Aru looks stronger than Froome at the moment.
It was nice to hear that Brad Wiggins and some club members from Tom Simpsons club were riding up Mont Ventoux to honour his 50th year of passing today.
May not be the worst thing losing the yellow jersey, put's pressure on a weakened Astana team tomorrow, and I seem to recall Froome blowing and losing time on one of the big stages last year too only to bring it back. He's still got the legs over Bardet and Aru in the final time trial which could be all important in the end....i hope
