Atalanta don't need to win. Just need to make sure they don't concede 3 and let us tire ourselves out.

 

we really died on purnarse after 15-20mins and all the danger we created was wide right early and then we all drifted in field and stopped that overlapping into space.

the game is in about half the park constantly.

 

It has gone really flat, no urgency, nothing happening

 

salah miss was massive. inexcusable.

we can't seem to play one touch at all. every player takes 2 and 3 touches.

they simply didn't need to or want to take a risk so just set up and we were taking 2 and 3 touches of the ball and never moving it quick.

the contrast to watching city v real. my god.

 

Atalanta game plan for second half worked amazingly well. They simply cut off all our passing lanes and without TAA after the sub, we didn't have the quality to expose the few opportunities their game plan afforded

 

Yeah thank **** we had a year out as we’d probably be looking at double figures on aggregate against one of the big boys

We didn't even really try in the second half, just limped out without much of a fight. Don't think anyone told the players we were actually losing
