I've always had an irrational dislike for Fulham. No real reason... Other than their kit is usually ugly and "Fulham" has an ugly sound to it.

It's like Dag and Red. Screw Dag and Red.

Anyhow... Gives this game some.meaming beyond the mere title hunt malarkey.

    3 wins for 4th.

    start there.

we will really struggle in this one imo.

they are not the most free scoring side either. let's just hope we get something out of it.

I doubt nunez, diaz, jota are in anyway fatigued here.

    quansah to start.

    gomez to start.

    endo?

    other gmaes:

wolves v arsenal - unless arsenal are hung over they should win this.
Villa v bournemouth - a gimmie. home game after squeeking through and a chance to rest and recuperate

    no spuds game.
    No city game.

    Roll on to midweek

Arsenal v chavs. - hard to call based on fa cup game but cheslea have scored against the better sides so its not a total slam dunk.
Everton V LFC - massive kick fest.
Brighton v city - city to walk it? or massive hang over?

West sham v LFC - must win
Spud v Arsenal - a favour will be done either way?
villa v chelsea - again not a slam dunk for villa very busy period.
forst v city - city to win by 5.

LFc have 3 games that a month ago were win win win. Now its can we scrape a few points and hope.

We really want spurs to just drop points left and right so we have time to get 4th but for the title we need city to lose and i cannot see Brighton or forest touching them

Win the first and it'll back to win, win, win. Confidence is just low atm after a tough couple of weeks

    maybe.

The way we played last night highlighted a serious lack of balls and confidence. Getting a goal will really help them settle into this game but i think it'll be very tough.

Fulham have had nothing to do for ages so are fresh as daisies.

Basically we just need to find a way to win to keep any faint chance of the title. Its not going to be pretty. At the moment only forward that has shown promise is Gakpo I would be tempted to start Gakpo and Danns. If we can get Jota fully fit it could make the run in a bit more bearable.

we will start with 11 warm bodies.

    Alisson
RB? Gomez? we cant ruin trent just yet.
Lb? Lets face it tsimikas can't start. Has to be robbo
    RCb Quansah
    LCB VVD
    6: endo
RCM? none of them deserve a game much. It could be elioott but it will be macca won't it.
LCM? Macca here, please not jones again and don't shove macca to rcm.
Rw? Salah won't be tired anyway thats for sure
LW? Diaz won't be tired that for damned sure
    CF? Nunez? gakpo? Jota?

it'll be rinse and repeat and see the same issues again.

Personally I would go something like
    Alison
    Gomez Quansah VVD Robertson
    Endo
    Elliot ????
    Gakpo Danns Diaz

The last midfield slot is the tough one I think Macca needs a rest and eveyone else is in poor form maybe give Clark a go. Salah wouldn't be any where near the starting line up.

What if we get a comfortable 3-0 or 4-0 win?

Just two points from 1st place and you're worried about dropping out of the top four (which would be losing a gap of over ten points in 6 games)? Have you been chatting with Woy?

We're in a title race. It's advantage City, they're favourites, but we're still in the race.

It’s Mito. Unless we win every game 5-0 then it’s all doom and we’re the worse side in history. Even now when klopp leaves we won’t get anyone decent cos 75% of the team are absolute **** and walking into the end of a cycle despite having a lot of good young players brought in over last 12 months.

Still top scorer and more likely to score / occupy defenders than anyone else on that side.

I would play Diaz, Gakpo or Nunez there before Salah on current form. At the moment he would be my 5th choice of our forwards. Since AFCON he has only scored 5 goals 2 of thoses penalties and 0 assits. He constantly loses the ball may be a case he isnt fully fit.

Slightly worried about this fixture given our form.

Fulham have a good number of players that can get at us.......Willian,Wilson Jiminez.....Pereira,Palhinha...and Decordova-Reid usually
does well.....difficult to know what you are going to get from us atm.

Maybe. How does that compare the Nunez gakpo and diaz in terms of pure numbers?

also, 2 of those were pens… which have to be scored and I’m not sure if trust any of the other forwards. Nunez already missed 1 this season?
