It's not just that 2 players left though, last season was a weak league and our position flattered us. This season's been a lot stronger. Next should be weaker again.

I'd have been perfectly happy this season if they'd have said the ambition would be to finish in the play-offs, and expectation to finish top half. Next season that's got to improve, ambition should be automatics, and expectation at least a play off place.

I think we are going round in circles here because the club said we are aiming for the automatics this season you are not happy but you want them to state it for next season because you assume the league is weaker next year ??

They were talking ****e though. How can we aim for automatic promotion without signing any quality and experience, and no capable centre forward?! It’s been a joke of a season and started last summer when Mowbray wasn’t backed.

Very little hope here, but we’ll see. Desperate for quality and experience for me or it’ll be another struggle. Serious changes needed in the forward department.

On reflection he maybe was talking ****e but at the time it was said we had a strong looking squad and but for some key injuries again and some poor later decisions I think we should and probably would have finished higher up the league. of the top 3 teams we have beaten Southampton once and Leeds once, we have not had a good season for a number of reasons but all in all we have managed to get some experience for younger players and have seen the benefit of last year on players like Hume, Neil and Ballard that is not to even mention Cirkin Huggins and Alese who all look really good but for injuries, so whilst I think we have fallen short of expectations I firmly believe this was down to changes in style (implemented under Mowbray) and head coach coupled with the injuries.

Mixed feelings about this lad, I’ve warmed to him of late and he’s been doing a tidy job.

I think you are right ultimately. I wouldn’t run over to the AOL and demand he be retained at all costs that’s for sure

I don't think we've seen enough to decide yet, he got off to a rough start through little fault of his own but has looked good lately in a more settled team. Certainly a useful player to keep around for his versatility at least.

He looks decent but is another player that has been playing in multiple positions with no real chance of getting any consistency.

We really need to cut that out next season.

I'd sign Styles. Not really sure where this idea of him being poor has came from. Very useful squad player if used correctly.

I’m genuinely not fussed. Think he’s steady. The club clearly rate him though - played plenty since his arrival and I think they’ll take up the permanent option.

For the reported fee he's well worth it imo, can understand people who aren't fussed though considering we aren't using him correctly. Can't understand why we won't play him centrally when he plays there for a good international side.

Just been having a look at Karamoko Dembele and I have to admit, the hype is justified. Smells like Patrick Roberts, had so much hype as a young lad, Celtic ditched him because he wasn't developed I feel.

Watching him he looks like he could be a great replacement for Diallo. He's a wonderful dribbler and his first and second touches set him up wonderfully. Got a high pass accuracy for an attacker, uses his small frame very well. Bit of Paddy and a bit of Diallo to him.

I'm not sure of his situation, but he'd be an extremely exciting pick up for anyone in the championship.
