Actually there’s some truth to the rinsing although we tend to reuse the rinsing water and use dregs from kettle I’m with Octopus on a supposedly 100% renewable tariff I’m finding this domestic minutiae quite soothing
Completely off topic, I want to talk about Octopus, so perhaps will continue that on the environment thread we have somewhere. Talking of the kettle, do you fill it or boil only what's necessary ? Swings and roundabouts on that one.
Boil only what's necessary without a doubt. More water more power needed and, as I explained to a friend of Mrs Jab's, a full kettler, after drinking a cup of tea each whilst chatting making their second cup is reheating the same water. She also understood that if you boil a full kettle it takes longer so must use more power.
Tea, however, should be made from freshly boiled water. Reboiling reduces the oxygen in the water, and this will nullify the process whereby the full flavour of the leaf is absorbed. **** football btw. Would rather have a cup of tea.
I'm currently doing a contract for Twinings. Am completely spoilt for choice of tea at the moment at their site in Andover
Apparently while you scrape dishes before putting in dishwasher it is better not to rinse them off as the dishwasher tablets work better on dirty crockery etc. My son was lucky…had ticket for Leicester game but didn’t go. Probably would have done if we’d beaten Cardiff
I think this is a direct result of sports republic statistics based approach. It led to the ridiculous managerial appointments and it’s leading to poor scouting. They are finding out in real time why statistics should only form part of the overall judgment
I used to work at Croydex, just over the road. The bloke who lived next door to us was a fire station chief and used to get loads of freebies from Twinings when he inspected their site.
I really like the manager's post-match assessment. He said all the right things about us. Spot on in every way. The only thing is I am not sure why he kept calling us Chelsea. Anyway, well said, Poch!
No, I'm rooting for you to get to the autos. It won't make much difference to us who else is in the play offs, they are just another golden chance for promotion that we will undoubtedly **** up.
I think I have decided I don't want to go up. We aren't good enough and the brand of football is too weak. Next season would be a total disaster.
Last night was a blessing in disguise. It showed that Saints aren’t good enough to go up. Cardiff academy had more bottle than Saints. If Saints players had half the sh******ery of Vardy, we wouldn’t be such pushovers.
