Meh, our result is forgettable in the grand scheme of things, we still have everything to play for this season.

No one is talking about us today, the news is Liverpool throwing away the title against their biggest rivals.

 

We were bad tonight, no doubt about it, but to put some perspective on it, they beat WHU 5-2 at the weekend, and Liverpool away the week before.
We’ve still got a chance of 6th, and even 7th might get us into Europe.

Murphy played right back. When we had Krafth on the pitch.

Burn played left back when he’s been fine at cb.

It’s typical Howe, when he does get it right he thinks he can repeat it. Ange likes his fullbacks to tuck inside and push his CB’s right up which perfectly suited us playing wing backs against Spurs. He tries the same tonight against a side who play actual wing backs not lumps of **** moulded into wing backs. I guarantee if Tino was at RB and Hall LB we wouldn’t have lost tonight.

 

Exactly mate....... if the argument is it worked vs spurs then it wasn't spurs was it... also why in God's name can't this manager change things before it's gone wrong? He does nothing and when he does it's nothing even remotely adequate.

FFS before tonight we had taken 10 from 12. They had their tails up and played very well. We didn't quite get a foothold in the game. This happens. We need more available better players. Howe does not need to be sacked. He needs to be backed. He's done unbelievable for this club.

 

No get rid and go after the guy West Ham are going to get. Basically we'll have another season of Howe though and then the penny will drop.

 

Away from home we are utter ****. It’ll be those fixtures what are our downfall. Would any other team in the top 8 play Longstaff and Burn? Genuine question.

 

It's consistently a problem with team selections, like falling back into bad habits.

What do you mean they beat us? We've played them twice this season and won both times. He's getting crucified cos expectations are higher there, and that's before you get on to disaster signings that cost a fortune like Antony and Sancho, and last season best player Casemiro being appalling this season. Plus they were dogshit in the champions league and are nowhere near it this season. And then Sundays game.....ummm, yeah.

 

It caught spurs by surprise... Today is was disjointed and a complete mess. I knew we'd get beat Tonight mind.... many were underestimating Palace.
