Bench Salah and Nunez. I'd rather have Danns or one of the other youngsters playing up front

    more energy yes.

West ham are a big side so will bully us off the park.

the only saving grace is spurs play arsenal and its moyes who is out so will their players turn up?

I think a lot of it is inertia. We're beginning to feel too comfortable losing. Back when it was unthinkable, we would fight to the last minute and double our efforts when behind. Now the team just chalk it up as," meh, so we're losing points again today"

Wonder whether some of it is psychological. Missing a lot of chances and as fans often think oh it’s going to be one of those days, but wonder if players starting to think the same and after miss and miss it’s just massively denying them that they’re just being unlucky etc.

Psychology plays a big part in it, a loss of confidence brought on by a string of bad luck and poor judgement. There may be something deeper going on, but that alone could be the answer, we don't know.
A run of good luck can turn that around, perhaps we'll see in the last few games of the season.

    absolutely psychology plays a part.

Players assume others are not going to play a pass so they stop making the run.

They assue the cbs will pass to each other rather than skipping one so they don't get turned to receive and face the right way.

They assume nobody is ahead of them wide so they don't even look and pass back.

Thry start thinking there's no option so just knock it straight back and pretty soon we are playing walking football with cbs looking for an option before a big hoof is done.

I am going to miss this, as I'm away in Porto .West Ham lost their last game , and Antonio is going to put extra effort today. I am assuring you 100 percent it's not going to be easy.

    Enjoy.

It'll be far better than seeing listless half fit player at walking pace.

I think part of the issue we have had is that we have pulled some of the kids for the more established players before they were up to speed
But nerves probably would have took its toll on the youngsters
Think it’s just one of those - it is what it is
The only disappointment for me this season was the UEFA and HOW we exited rather than the fact we exited

FA Cup - never expect anything there
    Carab??? - Won it
League - if we can hold to top 4 (which incidentally brace yourselves) - I think we will fairly comfortably

the only reason I feel we are disappointed is because of how it just fell flat - that’s all - could be wrong like
    I usually am lol

so overall a better season than the last imho

Three months ago, we lost one game, two months ago we lost two games. In two weeks we have lost two games. Is West Ham going to be a loss draw or win?.Your guess is as good as mine.

Before today I thought this game could have been Liverpools banana skin. Zouma seems to be the type of defender Liverpool struggle against.

The europa means its a poor season.

Getting top 4 over Newcastle, so what?

Villa getting top 4 over utd? Massive

    Thats the weight of expectation.

I'm going to say it now. It's highly unlikely we do anything next season.

We will either carry passengers or lose a heap of players and struggle to get real quality in.

Slot has jumped at the job and no disrespect to the feynoord fans who love him and rate him he has taken a massive risk to go for this.

We have clearly failed to get who we wanted so unless we invest well and trust ex-Bournemouth dof and a manager who's never seen a big league before to do that... well they will need time.

There are too many competitors to allow us cruise to top 4 next year. We have to be on it to get close.
