...it'd be 80% possession in our own half playing edge of box triangles between Allsop, Seri and Alfie Jones... Carlsberg might be a different matter, but we're probably gonna have to come up with a special brew on the night.
We're one of the form teams. 11 points from the last 15. Thank god for Tan stepping in and overruling the manager after stoke, and (quite clearly) we should be promoted by now if we'd played Pandur instead of "floppy wrists" Allsop. We've put ourselves in a position where if there's going to be a playoff race twist in the last 2 games, it's going to be us.... But then there's the (absolutely) rational and (completely non-agenda'd) criticism (from as long ago as Nov '22 - incredible foresight) from social media (yeah, I'm taking the piss) to take into account. Obviously with our top 6 budget (lol) and having 'won' the January window (also lol) we need to be asking questions of the manager cos we've missed a 'massive opportunity' (that Liam and the initial squad created themselves pre January - but who cares?) whereby 'rights' (pfft!) we probably should have got autos, so I'm sure Tan and Acun will be reviewing the mediocrity and naivety (again lol's) that's gone into this season, before deciding to trust Liam and 'his' recruitment team (****ing hilarious innit? ) with the summer rebuild. We need to make sure Liam doesn't 'overcoach' (haha) our new recruits into any kind of structure next preseason. Just 'take the shackles off', 'gerrit forward', just 'go all out' and we'll win the ****ing league... (But only if we sign some 'proven' journeyman clogger in midfield, obviously.) And send Ryan to the knackers yard in the process. * BTW - I think we'll get something out of tomorrow. Not sure we'll win, but then I'm not sure both our rivals will either, so let's see. 2 all draw. (But I'd 'love it- love it' if we managed a win)
I think Coyle should come back in, then it is a choice of Morton or Slater in midfield, I would start with the former and bring Regan on to add energy for the last 30 minutes. Other than that same team as Coventry.
Agree, but if it was a simple choice over Morton or Slater, it’s Slater for me. However, because Coyle might not manage the 90, Slater has to be ready on the bench. Edit: There’s no reason I can think of as to why Morton shouldn’t last the 90. But perhaps Docherty could come on if not.
I think Ipswich are starting to feel it, especially if TWS win tonight. Draw if there's still something in it after the other two play, win if it's dead, in typical City fashion. Sod's law and all that.
"We're playing against a great team, a proper team," Rosenior told Hull Live. "They're a team. Kieran's (McKenna) an outstanding coach at this level, he's done an incredible job. We've got to fill it, we've got to make it the loudest stadium in the country, it's our cup final." "Ipswich have had two weeks to prepare and plan for us, and we've got two days to recover, rest, get back home and go again," he said. "It's heart on the sleeve time and at the moment, every time this group of players have been asked a question in performance, they're putting in consistently very, very good performances. "I think it's a benefit for us to be playing at eight o'clock for many reasons. We can sit back and see what happens around us, but also it gives us an extra few hours. Every hour counts now in terms of our recovery and we're going to have to pick a really fit, strong, organised team to go up against an outstanding team." Rosenior will hope that when his staff and players do their customary lap of appreciation after the game to thank supporters for their backing this season, it won't be the last time they meet this season. He said:: "One hundred per cent, let's not make it the last one. Let's keep going."
Anyone think that he thinks they're a good 'team'?! Btw, would love it (just love it) if one day he came out and said something like "they're pretty **** and I really don't rate their coach who's also a bit of a prick". Is there any team or coach he doesn't think are great?
It's one of those fluffy fashionable lagers with lots of nice words to describe it on the adverts, but in reality it's just another lager.
the football we've played at times, is like having sex with your dream woman on the beach, the breeze is just right, the temperature is just right, and all the ice cold beers you could dream of is an arms reach away whatever beer is that is rosies city
