Good logic there Jack. Earlier in the week I almost picked the same bets, based on what they needed to do to make the play-offs/avoid relegation. Given that I didn't, you could be in luck

15 mins to L1 KO, so I'll go £904 Carlisle to win

Blue Slasher £800 Bolton (default bet)

EDIT Obviously that should be Derby (shortest odds) I was looking at the wrong odds

Actually, I'll make that £3848 Wycombe. That leaves me with a round £6,000

Carlisle are quite a decent side, I still can't fathom out how they got in the mess they are in. Although I expect Derby will be too strong for them today, I'd probably have been better going for a draw, but the odds for the win were too tempting to ignore.

They can't really afford to lose, just in case Bolton or Peterborough have a big win which is unlikely as they play each other. So they could field some youngsters and not be too worried about losing. If I was the Derby manager I would do just that with some big guns on the bench in case it starts going tits up. Or field the big guns to make it safe then bring on some youngsters for the experiene. I used to be decisive ... <laugh>
