    Best Driver: Vettel, Kvyat, Alonso
    Worst Driver: Rosberg, Maldonado
Best Rookie: not Verstappen*, but Sainz, who had rotten luck
    Best Team: Ferrari, Red Bull
    Worst Team: Williams

Best Overtake: I'll say Lewis on Massa, early on, though there were others
Funniest-moment: Pastor's penalty avalanche, and his 'explanation' afterwards
Most Surprising Result: no Mercedes on the podium; Alonso in 5th
Least Surprising Result: this was a race full of surprises

Special Mention to: Ricciardo - not quite best driver for his mistake but still a great drive
Race Rating: 10/10 - an actual classic; who'd have foreseen it?

    * Thanks to AG for pointing out Verstappen's unpunished collision with Bottas

Best Driver: Vettel did everything right and was pretty much the only one to stay out of trouble!
Worst Driver: Was going to go for Hamilton but at least he had some pace. Rosberg on the other hand was dire all weekend, missed his big chance.
Best Rookie (Nasr, Verstappen, Sainz, Stevens, Mehri):
    Best Team: Red Bull
Worst Team: Force India - Also missed a big chance for points

    Best Overtake: Hamilton on Massa?
Funniest-moment: Maldonado and his endless penalties
Most Surprising Result: No Merc podium
Least Surprising Result: Vettel is able to take his chances

Special Mention to: Ricciardo for effort, Kimi who probably would have got 2nd, Alonso for taking the chance for 5th, Hamilton for owning up to being dire, Kvyat, a few really.
    Race Rating: 9/10

    Best Driver: Vettel
Worst Driver: Maldonado for being an amateur, Lewis for wasting the fastest driver/car combination, Nico looking like a mortal in the best car - regardless of the reasons.
    Best Rookie: Verstappen
    Best Team: Ferrari
    Worst Team: Forced India

    Best Overtake: Raikkonen on Rosberg
Funniest-moment: Lewis blaming Nico for being "pushed off the racing line" and Maldonado's conduct which was that bad you can only chuckle - although I would hazard a guess the powers that be think otherwise.
Most Surprising Result: no Mercedes on the podium; Alonso 5th
Least Surprising Result: Merc power not being the deciding variable.

Special Mention to: Raikkonen (who was in for a solid 2nd)
    Race Rating: 7/10

    Best Driver: Vettel / Alonso
    Worst Driver: Hamilton
Best Rookie (Nasr, Verstappen, Sainz, Stevens, Mehri): Sainz, was ahead of Verstappen all race until his car broke, still a good race for Verstappen though.
    Best Team: Ferrari
    Worst Team: Mercedes

Best Overtake: I can't really remember any special ones...
    Funniest-moment: Kvyat's Robotic voice
Most Surprising Result: No Merc on the podium despite double finish
Least Surprising Result: Mercedes decide to not put Soft on Rosberg...

Special Mention to: Bianchi. What a race to dedicate to him.
    Race Rating: 9/10

Best Driver: Alonso shades it from Vettel
Worst Driver: Hamilton, unlike his team-mate his car wasn't compromised by his team (you'd have known if it was, he would've been on twitter releasing technical data)
Best Rookie (Nasr, Verstappen, Sainz, Stevens, Mehri): I guess it has to be the 4th placed man
Best Team: RBR (couldn't give it to Ferrari, one of their cars broke, Mercedes had the best car, but both their drivers were foolish)
    Worst Team: Manor

Best Overtake: Riccardo on (I can't remember who it was, massa maybe), started going into turn one finished coming out of the hairpin at turn 3
    Funniest-moment: Maldonado,
Most Surprising Result: no Merc podium
Least Surprising Result: Hamilton bitching over the radio because he isn't in the lead

    Special Mention to: Ricciardo, Kvyatt
Race Rating: 8.5/10 (Riciardo's silly move spoiled what could've been a grandstand finish between him and Vettel.)

Best Driver: Vettel, a calm head as chaos reigned behind him.
Worst Driver: Hamilton. Poor start compounded by hot headedness, given a lifeline by the safety car and still blew it.
Best Rookie (Nasr, Verstappen, Sainz, Stevens, Mehri):
    Best Team: Red Bull
Worst Team: Mercedes - how did they not have soft tyres ready for Rosberg?

    Best Overtake: Alonso on Sainz
    Funniest-moment: Maldonado, just in general
Most Surprising Result: No Merc podium
Least Surprising Result: Vettel better result than Kimi.

Special Mention to: Ricciardo, Kimi, Alonso, and Hulk was doing well before his crash.
Race Rating: 9.5/10 If there'd been a battle for the lead after the first corner it would have been perfect.

Come on now... Rosberg was far worse than Hamilton. He was hopeless.

Best Driver: Vettel & Kvyatt equally.
    Worst Driver: Maldonado
Best Rookie: Verstappen & Sainz equally [edited thanks to a clarification from AG]. Verstappen qualified better and brought the car home for a very creditable 4th place despite the contact with Bottas but Sainz was doing better in the early stages before his car expired.
    Best Team: Red Bull
Worst Team: All things considered, Mercedes.

Best Overtake: Hamilton v Massa for P9 early in the race. Later on, Alonso's overtake on Sainz was also pretty good.
    Funniest-moment:
Most Surprising Result: Mercedes not on the podium after locking out the front of the grid.
Least Surprising Result: If I was forced to bet on a any driver receiving more than one penalty in a race, it would have to be Maldonado.

    Special Mention to: Jules Bianchi

    Race Rating: 9.4/10

    Best Driver: Vettel & Kvyatt
Worst Driver: Hamilton & Rosberg jointly. One had the pace but lost his head after a bad start. The other threw away an opportunity to cut his WDC points deficit.
Best Rookie (Nasr, Verstappen, Sainz, Stevens, Mehri): Verstappen
Best Team: Red Bull. Could Ricciardo have won again without a nose change?
Worst Team: Force India. Are they using parts which have exceeded their life cycles? Two bad critical component failures.

Best Overtake: Ricciardo made some great lunges. Real opportunist stuff.
Funniest-moment: Lewis apologizing over the radio during the race to the team
Most Surprising Result: Non-Merc victory & double McLaren points finish
Least Surprising Result: Maldonado getting a penalty.

    Special Mention to: Jules
    Race Rating: 9/10

Best Driver: Vettel - great start, great pace and about the only guy who didn't make some sort of mistake.
Worst Driver: Maldonado and Rosberg - Maldonado must have set some sort of record there, three penalties in one race <doh>. Rosberg was just woeful, mistake at the start let Kimi through, his pace was dreadful, being outpaced by your team mate is one thing, but he watched two slower cars drive off into the distance, then tripped over Ricciardo to compound an awful weekend.
Best Rookie: Merhi - outqualified and outraced his team mate despite having to make an early pit stop to fix a faulty head rest.
Best Team: Mercedes - the drivers let them down
Worst Team: Force India - any hope of challenging Red Bull is gone now, cars breaking all over the place while their closest rivals score a double podium

    Best Overtake: Hamilton on Massa
Funniest-moment: Maldonado's quest to use all his penalty points in a single race
Most Surprising Result: Alonso in fifth
Least Surprising Result: Manor I guess

    Special Mention to: Jules
Race Rating: 9/10 - Not as good as last year's but still an excellent race

Best Driver: Vettel - truely deserved his win. I'm glad the safety car didn't rob him.
Worst Driver: Maldonado was clearly the worst, but the one who missed expectations by the widest mark was Rosberg. Hamilton's errors handed him a golden opertunity. He was then outpaced by slower cars before giving himself a puncture on Ricciardo. He's not champion material.
Best Rookie: Verstappen. The final finishing postion was fortunate, but still a great showing.
    Best Team: Ferrari
    Worst Team: Williams

    Best Overtake: Hamilton on Massa
Funniest-moment: How many drive throughs Pastor?
Most Surprising Result: Alonso, again achieved by staying on the road, but still. Hamilton also had his first poor race in a while.
Least Surprising Result: Err.. they were all pretty suprising.

Special Mention to: The touching tribute to Jules before the race.
Race Rating: 10/10 I don't see what else i could have asked for in a dry race.
