An unusual Wednesday night fixture see's an interdivisional Capital-One-Superbowl Matchup between Norfolk State Canaries and Doncaster R's. Canaries are headed into this matchup following a disappointing One versus Nothing defeat versus Newcastle Magpiez. In that matchup the return of midfield-linesman W. Hoolahan wasn't enough to turn around the bad run of luck which has seen Canaries only amass Three-Ballgame-Points from their opening Five EPL matchups. Coach Hughton: âThere isnât anybody playing on Wednesday who does not have good experience and who isnât a strong player. It is a game we very much want to win. When you look at the likes of Alexander Tettey he is an experienced player. Jacob is another one who has been used to playing. He has played enough development games for us to be able to put him in. ." Canaries have been playing a high standard of soccer, with quick pass-plays and good route-running; however so far they've been unable to convert chances inside the opposition endzone. Franchise Fans have been both frustrated and encouraged in equal ammounts, but if Coach Hughton's score-attempt-converters continue their poor-run-of-form, the 12-13 EPL series could end up being a harder fight than it needs to be. please log in to view this image Doncaster R's currently sit P12 in NPLOne, following a run of results which sits 1-1-2. Whilst undoubtedly being underdogs for this ballgame, they have nothing to lose and can play with a freedom which they can ill-afford to enjoy in their long NPLOne Series. Canaires fans know from experience what it takes to escape from NPLOne, a task which will be no-mean-feat for former NPC Franchise. Coach Saunders: "We went down a particular route to try and keep the club in the league but I knew that if it didnât work out, and we didnât stay in the Championship, that I was going to do what I have had to do in the summer. I took the job on those terms and I got my head down and got stuck into it and weâll get it right. We are heading in the right direction and everybody who takes a wage from the club is now working hard" Whilst Canares will be headed into this matchup following an uninspiring start to their EPL campaign, they can take heart from a string of good performances. This ballgame should be treated as an opportunity to kick-start the offensive-line and build momentum ahead of their important ballgame versus RedSox at the weekend. This sure is going to be a great Soccer matchup, so fill up your Coca-Cola⢠tankards, get your hot-dogs and grab a seat for this smash-and-grab matchup, brought to you exclusively on Not606! NOTE: Hope you chaps enjoy the new design, all feedback is welcome so please share!
Great as usual CS! But I didn't realise that Norwich can also be referred to as the Canaires or the Canares!
It is, kind of. It can be a tie game at the end of the standard period and then we'll go into the over time period followed by the sudden death spot kick shoot out
Bunn E Bennett R. Bennett Ward Tierney Tettey Fox Butterfield Holt C. Martin Kane Bizzare line-up, let's hope it works! Not sure if that's the actual formation, just my best guess.
That's basically how I read the formation. Looks interesting to me I've wanted to see Bennett at right back again after Bolton last year. Imagine Benno and snoddy overlapping down that right side. Could be awesome.
Doubt Holt would play on the wing. That's where he was at Forest and he hated it. Think C Martin may be playing in midfield tonight anyway. Or on the wing instead of Holt.
The way the BBC have it it looks like Butterfield is playing at RB Unless we're three at the back I'm guessing Elliott is actually there, very interesting lineup - really hope Holty finds his shooting boots tonight
You could try this - haven't tried it myself, so not sure how good it is http://www.stockhouse.com/blogs/viewdetailedpost.aspx?p=150974
