Birmingham game

    With Birmingham playing pretty poorly in their last 3 games and one of their best players in Gardener suspended, I think 3 points should not be too hard to take with Barton not picking up that yellow at liverpool which would have kept him out of the game. So basically we are full strength, what are peoples predictions and how do they feel about this game? I am going with 3-0 Toon with Nolan getting a brace and Gutierrez nicking one! :D

    4-1 Nolan, Coloccini, Lovenkrands and Kuqi! Larson for them. I think we will either thrash them or it will be a bore draw or a bore 1 nil either way.

    With the worst strikeforce in the Premier league we will only beat Brum if our midfield have their shooting boots on I`m afraid.
    Lets hope Nolan can add to his tally.

    I think it may be a dull game. However rumours are getting stronger that Ben Arfa is returning to the bench saturday. :)

    Don't forget we did beat Wolves 4-1 with Lover and Ameobi up top.

    Personally I think we should put Raylor in at right midfield, Ferguson in at left back, and Saylor in CB to give them all a kick up the backside. And yes I think we should keep Shola and Lover in there, they maybe ***** but they're the best we've got at the moment.

    Agree, think the time has come to shuffle things about for the last few games. Too many players are coasting. Birmingham are similar in ability to Wolves and I can see us beating them by a couple of goals.

    We need to refresh, therefore that means Pardew making a couple of changes IMO.

    Saylor for Willo.
    Ferguson in at LW(move Guti to the right).
    Barton in the centre with Tiote.
    Move Nolan further forward so he can have a bit more freedom.
    NO TO SHOLA.. so I'll say give Lovenkrands a chance as the lone striker so we can play a bit more on the deck instead of hoofing to the likes of Ameobi <doh> and Ranger.

    That's just me though. <ok> We all know Pardew will put out a unchanged team which includes Amadonkey <doh> <doh>

    We work the ball well to the wings then just lump (normally useless) crosses into the box which Shola never wins or if he does clears the ball for the defence. This also takes Lovenkrands out of the game, he makes decent runs we just need our team to stop going down the wings EVERY attack
