After another no show from the Chairboys so called strikers its off to the East End and Victoria Road the home of the Daggers, who are one of only 5 League Two teams to have scored less goals than ourselves, but at least in 2016 the loyal Daggers have celibrated 5 goals against our solitary 1goal and unless we can find a goal scorer from somewhere its going to be mid table for us this season, on the plus side the Daggers have not won a home game since April a record that I hope continues. With no new injuries that we know of Gaz will no doubt play Hayes and Thompson up front when he should be playing PCH as a forward and Sam Wood left wing and please play Kretz!!!!! This is a must win game for both teams but I can't see the blunt Daggers being sharp enough to worry our defence so its likely to be a scrappy Gozzie goal that will earn the lads three points to hopefully put our play off hopes back on track
1 point above Accrington who will have 3 games in hand and superior goal difference and 1 point above Portsmouth who will have 1 game in hand and and even more superior goal difference. We have lost 2 games we shouldn't have. But we won one that maybe we shouldn't have. If we continue like that we'll end up with 61 points. Currently we have Carlisle sitting just 1 point below us with 2 games in hand. If we lose we will have Wimbledon sitting 1 point behind with a game in hand. This is a must win game; but we can't win if we can't score. How nice it would be, and how confidence boosting for our strikers, to get a hatful tomorrow
If we can get 20% of our off target shots in the net that would be 3 goals based on the last 2 matches (admittedly that is the combined off target shots )
Wouldn't be surprised if this ends 0-0 tonight. I would start PCH up front with Thommo as Hayes is struggling and let's be honest it can't be as bad as our recent performances.
I reckon we need our old friend OG to score to get 3 points there. Wasn't it the daggers who beat us at home earlier in the season
That's what happens when you get as old as me mate. There's no hope for Ron .on a serious note I think it's a good job we didn't get promoted last season wouldn't fancy our strikers to score many goals in league one when they can't hit a barn door in our division
Team news: Jacobson and Bean miss out and Ugwu drops to the bench, so Luke O'Nien, Sam Wood and Garry Thompson come in. #DAGvWYC
Wycombe: Allsop, Harriman, Jombati, McCarthy, Pierre, Cowan-Hall, Bloomfield, O'Nien, Wood, Thompson, Hayes. #DAGvWYC
