Dutch, no one is intent on causing disruption. No one wakes up in a morning and thinks "hmm how can I ruin not606 today" or "what can I do to lure Dutch into one of his ridiculous arguments".

You say these things yet you always tend to be at the centre of all the disruptions. That's not because you're the kid everyone picks on, it's because you put yourself in the middle. You have to practice what you preach.

There's no problem with you getting involved in petty squabbles, that's your choice. You don't need to lead by example, you're a moderator here to keep things tidy and ticking over, not general melchett turning boys into men and sending them over the top.

The problem is you cant be a poster AND a moderator. You use your mod superpowers to deliberately wind people up and cover your own back.

I agree with most the times you move arguments and stuff out of threads where topics are genuinely being discussed, that's the right method. I don't agree with moving them in to threads named like "Carmine's teddy and dummy bin" that's crossing the line.

The most annoying thing is when you just lock and/or delete threads to suit yourself. Last night you were proven a liar so you just deleted the thread and that was that. This morning you just went round deleting my posts to prove a pathetic point, yet still allowed yourself, and others, to take digs at me whilst deleting my replies. That's crossing the line.

If you can distance yourself from the moderator controls none of this would be a problem, when you're shown up and your ego gets bruised it should stay where and how it is for everyone to see like it is for everyone else. Maybe you should just refrain from moderating anything that you're involved with and let the other mods decide what to do.

I've never closed a thread because I was losing an argument, nor have I used the controls for my own end (that I recall).

One poster has admitted he's intent on disruption and others have admitted that they post to flare and generate threads like these.

It souldn't be a surprise that I'll often get involved in these type of threads because people ask a question of a mod. I get criticised other times for not stepping in.

What is notable are a few other names that pop in with pithy and snide comments to fuel others.

A bit of self control, and there's little need for mods, but a shrinking violet of a mod's not a lot of use when posters have their own issues.

It does seem to be that some on here have issues with CI posters.

    Agreed 200%.

The same pissy little clique have trolled this board to death in the last few days about this non issue.

    The voices are insistent.

    You bet they are .

It's the same four or five posters posting the same 'accusation' again and again.

97% of posters are bored s**tless and switch off, and don't bother posting, hence it looks like there are whole threads of dissatisfied and angry punters.

In reality , it's a little busy swarm who back each other up on every 'moderation' thread.

I hop PLT steps up to the plate on this one and sees what's happening.

    It's killing this forum.

there are a few posters who will jump in on the finest end of a cats fart to argue the toss about anything , then within 3 posts there is a gaggle of em all ragging over the same foetus .
From there its a thread of name calling and turns into a very public pissing contest . This isn't restricted to regular posters , the odd Mod has this fever running through their veins too and when
the focus in on Modding theres gonna be a car crash .

Sometimes when you read a post you dont agree with , you can just scroll on , not every post has to be a reason for war . Nobody looks clever on these threads :/

Talking about cum-guzzling and twisted foetuses is 'killing this forum'.

Spend some time checking out which 'bravehearts' post the most abuse......

Here's one from last night for example:

    "You're full of s**t, pal."

It's not as crude as suggesting people drink Allam's semen though, is it?

I thought you had us all on ignore?

    How odd.

Anyways, wasn't it Dutch's idea to have a thread specifically for us usual suspects so we don't 'disrupt' the board? Just to clarify anyone who doesn't agree with Dutch is disrupting the board.
He even gives them a quirky little title if we're lucky.

It's not like we're contaminating every thread with the same issue, the name change for example.

I think what probably stops people from posting is when racist, sexist, bigoted views and filthy mouthed abuse, calling other posters cum swallowing turds for example, is permitted.

A lot, not a few, are expressing their opinion that Dutch isn't up to the task and needs to step aside. I doubt that would prevent anyone from posting.

    Not hard to grasp really.

    Who's to judge?

You complain of something that you yourself do. Now I've drawn your attention to it, you can take ownership of your actions.

Well, as the OP was a question to me that I've answered and it just seems to be dragging over old ground, I'll close the thread.
