Not allowed to post details under the after the club's official announcement next week, but it's a very radical approach to pricing and club interaction with the fans, it should remove many of the current issues, but involves a fair amount of upheaval that will upset some fans. Overall it's very good, at least it should be if they've managed to overcome some of the issues we discussed at the FWG meeting (there were some aspects still not finalised and I've no idea if they've been resolved).
hopefully it will be a system where you can book your tickets early and get a cheaper price and it slowly goes up the fuller the ground gets, much like booking a flight - great system for touts who can buy cheap and sell high
That's the opposite of how those systems work. Prices start high and if tickets don't sell they go down. It's why buying tickets on the day of a flight can be so cheap.
Jules you are not in the "Inner Sanctum" I'm afraid. Those in the know have complete contempt for us mere underlings. Too much information is bad for the likes of you and I.
Have heard the new membership card with use contact-less technology, can load games or bank details on.
I was thinking exactly the same. Some smart arse will access the system no doubt and scam every Tigers fan who passes through a turnstile taking their bank details with them. I've been done over twice with a national banking group so do not have much confidence in the clubs security systems at all.
Are we getting riled up over a rumour about something, with no basis of facts and no actual knowledge of what, if any system and safeguards have or have not been implemented? Excellent. Carry on.
The earth is run by a secret species of lizard people who inhabit the planet below the surface. Trust no-one.Fact.
That's simply not true - until very recently I flew every week for many years both around Europe and also all over the world - I have yet to come across one airline that actively encourages people to wait before they book because they will reduce the price - on the other hand airlines are excellent at capturing those last minute business trips a full price - airlines want cash in the bank and the best way of doing that isctempt people to book early - I can't even begin to work out how much money my company lost by not booking early but waiting until the last minute - I accept if you're looking at a charter flight when a company may have hired the plane for whatever reason and can't fill theseats then last minute they may reduce prices to get any money in last minute but that's totally different to the normal scheduled airline booking system
