This is ridiculous, this is simply a case of the FA bottling it, going after the smaller clubs than having the balls to take on the bigger clubs. If the ref hadn't given so many **** yellows they wouldn't our players wouldn't be so incensed! Give the refs video technology and then make them accountable.
I think as Hull City fans and funders of the club we should be protesting against this, I agree that most of the money is in sponsorship, however a large majority of the money the FA are fining us by has been put in to the club from the fans, its not on and I find it disgusting that the FA cant employ a referee with the backbone to send a player off if he is untoward him, yet instead go after the club, absolutely disgusting a distasteful!
There has to be the establishment of the fact that the Ref's word is final - right or wrong - and dissent has to be penalised. The game is getting to be a total farce - e.g: Chelsea's tactics. Alex's 'foul' and subsequent yellow card was wrong, but mobbing/harassing the ref is no answer. Red cards can be rescinded after viewing video. The FA can caution refs (privately) if they are going OTT.
^^^ This is correct - the first players surrounding the fat useless **** Moss were all from Leicester, ditto with the Huddlestone block (the 2nd yellow) and the Dawson tackle.
Not sure what you're basing that from? Based on the MotD highlights, it's City players surrounding the ref for Bruce booking, no one for the Huddlestone 2nd yellow (Jake is kind of running alongside) and the Dawson incident isn't shown.
The FA should charge themselves for bringing the game into disrepute over this. They should be ashamed of how THEY are allowing our National game to deteriorate.
How come they've picked on us then? How come they don't do it to other teams? Did they charge DQPR for doing it over the Furlong incident? That would be my argument to the FA. As usual we have an unclear rule that is poorly administered by a governing body that has no face, no leadership and no balls.
You've got up at 7 in a morning and posted on a Hull City board without even posting on the Leicester board. Mate thats really really sad.
Off you go then. You get the campaign group started, think of a good name, set up a website, don't forget a secure way of doing memberships on-line, contact all the local and national media. I will come along later and tell you how poor it is and every thing should have been better. Oh and why havn't you got more members if everyone supports your veiw.
It all goes on the ref's report. If he reported us for clambering round him the FA take action. Hence another reason Moss is a arse!
Surely the FA has to consider precedent - I haven't specifically reviewed this but I think that four players approached the ref including Dawson who appeared to be sorting things out in a fairly calm way. The City players withdrew in seconds and got on with the game. As has already been mentioend, there was very little reaction when Huddlestone was later sent off. I'm sure it would be very easy for City to point to many more heated protests by other teams in other games that have gone completely unpunished.
Aside from the fact that football is rapidly becoming a non-contact sport (at least compared to the 80's when you could send the man and the ball into touch without a card), there seems to be inconsistency from the F.A. where we get charged and say Arsenal, Man U or Chelsea would get some leniency. Can we have Clattenburg soon because he usually has a balanced approach instead of Moss, who either needs to go to Specsavers in a hurray or as others have said, should be relegated down to another division.
