Yep that's right. It's a way of controlling the population of certain animals. I am not a hunter, and have no intention of starting, however, I am quite happy eating meat. Getting back on subject, I am really pleased Saints are with UA. At least we wear original kits.
Good point. Why hunt animals for sport, when you can buy a semi automatic weapon and hunt down your neighbours, who will probably be armed themselves? Now that's what I call sport.
Well a Rank Xerox style kit would make sense really with the no stripe on back rule for next season... stupid rule btw but different argument. As for away.... YEEELLLLOOOOWWWWSSS!
Just bought this years kit for 15 quid there...Barely remember ordering it when I was drunk but glad I did!
I just searched and could only find an article saying Premier League were banning striped backs for this season, but ours was striped?
I swear that they banned stripes on the back years ago (when we were in the prem before getting relegated) and us and a few other teams were allowed to keep the stripes on the back because it was part of the clubs history (or something like that)
Iirc... they wanted to bring it in this season but announced it too late and half of the teams had already designed their shirts so they pushed it back a year. Someone sent me a pic of Brightons earlier. Nasty.
They did and we didn't. The European shirt was thin red & white stripes with a solid red back. The number were a curious rounded off design, totally unlike what you see today in the UK. Here's Kevin Phillips having done what he did best in the Euro shirt against Steaua Bucharest. You can get a peep of the solid red back down his right side. Very few photos around of the back itself. please log in to view this image
Yeah, it was thought to be a bad looking shirt. I thought it was fine. Always get one size down, then it fits because 15 years ago the shirts were tents.
Years ago, lon before many on here were born, i escaped by boarding on a Saturday afternoon and went to the Hawthorns to see Southampton in the 4th Round of the FA Cup. That afternoon Saints wore a mid-colour yellow shirt, black shorts and black socks. I thought it looked really smart. Have not seen Saints in that combination again. More is the pity!!
