Good shout Sooper, let's have some more. I bet you and a few other regular posters on this thread went to this gig?
I know it's not a regular music vid but if you enjoy raw talent then stick your headphones on and have a listen to this bloke. He's not even a playing pro but have a watch of this and some of his other vids and see how good he is. Enjoy ... Jeremy Davis........ ( Check out the beats at 1 minute 10 secs )
Cheers 9's, I enjoyed that and as I have told you before I used to play drums. Been a while now but it's such a great feeling taking it all out on a good drum set. Even better if you have a good bass player handy!
While we are talking about Drummers if you have not already seen this then have a gander. Just keep your eyes on the drummer.
I never saw the 'Pulse' concerts, saw them earlier before the big split. Here's a unique 'stereo video' of the Pulse version of 'Run Like Hell'...
Cheers Sooper, I posted this live version myself a few days back so great minds think alike and all that. You can never have too much Pink Floyd on a good music thread in my opinion!
Please forgive me for going a bit BBC with repeats but I already posted a few days back but this is just so good.
This is one I used to sing to my ex-wife!... The only Pink Floyd song to feature drummer Nick Mason on vocals...
One more music post from me tonight as there is so much for me to be catching up on and listening to so over to you guys! One more from Emerson, Lake and this time Cozy Powell (Another top drummer R.I.P) Thanks again for all the top music posts everyone. Peace!
Talking of ELP, this is the full version of a film I saw in 1972 at an all-night cinema in King's Cross...
Not my cup of tea at all this stuff, lads - not that I'm knocking it - each to their own, but if you want something more upbeat for the Ides of March with Joe Root 100 not out from 100 balls, Da Brudders don't disappoint 1, 2, 3, 4...
The last 30 seconds or so of that make the hairs on the back of my stand on end every time. Simply awesome
Fair play and as you say each to their own. The unwritten rule for this music thread I started is all music from all areas and styles welcome. It's a celebration of music and a nice chilled out thread where everyone is welcome. Anyway I love the fact that so far nobody's criticized anyone's music posts. That's what makes this thread work so well. I just love all sorts of music, many different grooves for different moods. I have and will post music that's not to someones liking. I do listen to everyone's music post at least once, If I don't like it I just skip until stumbling on a song I like. Have a good weekend mate. Peace!
Here's one for you - it's a cover version, but well worth watching for a reason that will become obvious very, very soon....
