I'll have you know I've just placed a senior immuno-oncologist at cancer Research Technology. That's ****ing hard work
I had a call on my mobile last Friday afternoon - 'private number calling', so I binned it. Thought it was probably someone flogging something. I noticed later I had a voicemail, so I listened to it when I got to the Cheese. It was Chester hospital telling me I'm going in for that op tomorrow afternoon. Not even had a ****ing letter yet
Has it ****. The York stone floor has been jet washed, but that's about it. Update when the MD goes for lunch.
They are going to be doing food. Apparently it IS going to be decorated inside and out. I'll believe it when I see it
I was intending to go to the Grange on Saturday afternoon as I wasn't sure what time the Cheese was reopening. Just before I was about to set off, my eldest called me asking if I was going to the Cheese. She was walking her digs and had to go to Stockton Heath to get a mother's day card. I said I'd meet her at the Cheese as there were still benches outside. I got there and Terry and Ang were sat outside. It wasn't open. They were waiting for a new jukie to be fitted and there were wires hanging out of the wall. She arrived, so I hobbled off to the Grange. When we got there, I was told that dogs weren't even allowed outside the gaff, so I had to hobble all the way back When we got there, it still wasn't open, so I sent Ellie to the garage to get 2 cans of Carling. I was finishing the first one when Ellie said she was going to go and sit at the back. I walked in and sat at the bar and then Terry served me the first pint of the new era. Ellie then left and I had a chat with Morgan. People began to filter in and by the time I left at 5.30 pm, it was quite full. I few previously banned ones in there Went it on the Sunday to hear there had been two relatively low key fights in there, so the first bannings had already taken place That night, Denice called me from her sister's phone pissed up. I knew that a few people owed her quite a lot of money, including one nameless woman (daughter of a good mate), who owed her £1600! She'd been in the pub that afternoon. I think Denice intends to get it back.....She's also going in for another pub up there. You'd think she'd have had a belly-full. Anyway, I'll be in there tonight before 3 days in ****ing hozzie
