I'd play by those rules, too.

But only on the strict understanding that the change would last for no more than to the end of next season.

If the rules cannot be amended to accommodate this change, then neither I nor Pixie will have agreed to it.

Ok situation is pending, they cannot pick the avatar as they'll warp it in their favour the original bet stands does either have the stones? The change of avatar is for 1 month at the start of the season.

Yes. If Pixie takes the bet, and I lose, you can do your worst and I will put up with it for the first month of the season, commencing from the date of the first kick-off and lasting until exactly one calendar month later.

Just to be clear, though, I will not agree to use an avatar that is pornographic in nature, or one that is offensive on grounds of race, religion or sexual orientation.

I've just read through this thread what a massive bottle job from HIAG. He basically had to be held down and slapped with his own fish to finally concede. Faced with the ultimate humiliation of bottling out of changing a few pixels on a screen.

My only reason for standing off on this bet was down to the fact that I believed my avatar would be put on the line for ever. As soon as I learned that it was nothing more than a temporary loss (should I lose), I jumped at it.

You, on the other hand, tried to sneak your way out of it by insisting that you choose your own avatar - a ploy intended to save you from humiliation. Everyone saw it, Pixie; you can wriggle and squirm as much as you like, but we all saw it.

It was only the fact that I jumped right in, fearlessly, that you felt obliged to follow suit.

It's shameful behaviour, but at least you have, finally, been forced into taking the bet.
