3rd offence for the same thing.....I think an international ban even if it's for 12 months, wouldn't cause him much of an issue. I think there's a case for a football ban worldwide, for a period., but there's no precedent for that so it's highly unlikely imo

Then how the **** does repeatedly kicking or elbowing someone now carry the same sentence? More dangerous things are lesser offences? It's ridiculous. because biting is unpalatable it must be a harder sentence? Bollocks.

A punch doesn't carry a ban like that, even a second or third offence.

is the world gone mad.

it's like giving heftier sentences to someone who touches a boob and lesser sentences to a violent rape.

They should have quit after series 3 ... ffs 4 was holier than thou bullshit and 5 meh omar getting killed by 6 or 7 year old and jimmy the serial killer faker meh

well... the last series was poor. i felt it shouldn't have wrapped everything up as it tried too hard

If he wants to eat people he shouldn't be on the pitch weather It be International or domestic footy...

He should be banned from football full stop for a good while until he realises he cant wander around biting people the problem Is he has done It now 3 times so I cant see anything other than a world ban myself?

World class player but a Gutter trash person..

Yep. He's screwed! <ok>

His ban will have immediate effect, which will be unfortunate for Liverpool.

It was discussed on the radio this morning about its effect on sending players for international duty, its not going to help, but other players are professional, so i can't see it making much difference.
I would suggest that Rogers take a hammer to Suarez's kneecaps before internationals come around, maybe he did before the world cup this year seeming he had that surgery <whistle>

If he had been available from the start of last year, you could have won the league and if hes not going to be available again at the start of this season, it could ruin your chances again!
I really can't understand why Liverpool fans jump to his defence!

wrong seeing our record in first 5 games was quite tasty (pun intended)

again and for last time.. nobody is defending suarez its all just banter cos nobody is going to bother hold a drawer statement to make every passer by feel righteous. the condemnation was done already. you missed it. its all just bantering.

so far today:

a) established there are far more violent players out there

b) wums hope for world and galaxy ban

c) bbc fears rape is next

d) coverage in england is far worse than coverage anywhere else and it seems to be a minor story only heading daily wordl cup news elsewhere.

e) any pics of suarez with mouth open = a bite is happening

how the **** am i jumping to his defence, all i have asked is why should the club be punished for something he done on int duty.

and if so doesn't that bring the problems of not allowing players to go in case they cock up and the club pay the consequences as well.

Crazy.

Agree that it's a handy angle and we're reading stuff into it but on the flip side after last night it's a pretty damning picture. He must operate kind of like a big age hunter tracking certain specimens having a series of skirmishes, maybe grazing the target with a shot several times in several different seasons, until he can finally, fatefully go in for the kill.

Yeah that last season was a bit iffy. never should have been cancelled though.

marlow was one ruthless ****er. Bet you had a thing for snoop <laugh>

Robert f colesbury died in 2004 during season 3 ... he was the director or writer or something important anyway and you can tell the difference with a new guy in.

was snoop a girl really. we found out eventually but it was istill weird.

i felt that it had run its course but would have perferred it to have ended with a gun batlle per end of season 4 than the whole serial killer angle. i felt that marlow went down badly and there was a better story in it

A shame, and for the show too, he had talent. I watched 13 episodes of that straight.

<laugh> Found that funny.

Seriously though, I think the main reason why people are so outraged by this is because biting isnt considered.......manly....for lack of a better word.
In sport you will always get fists, knees, etc, but headbutts, spitting and biting are considered disgusting and are even illegal in UFC.

Its just the global pre conception of certain acts, and biting is considered vile.
You could argue its merits against more violent acts like elbowing someone in the face and whatnot, and I wouldnt necessarily disagree. But its just that biting is considered inhumane and animalistic by a large portion of society.

Would I rather be bit than headbutt? Hell yes! But biting is taboo and they will come down on him.

Lastly..........
3 times Luis!! Come the **** on man!! Come on! Just quit it you silly gimp!

Yeah Marlow's end should have been bloody, not walking off into the sunset.
