    The fee is ludicrous, but let's hope for the best. It's the position we most needed to strengthen and the missing piece in the ****ty performances so far this season

    What you are not taking into account is the seller. This is very much a sellers market and they will hang on knowing full well that teams are more energised at the end of transfer market as they see their rivals making strides. You cannot just decide to buy a player and expect the selling side to just roll over. They wait, Everton join in and they get the price they want. All over the world clubs are fully aware of just how much money is floating about in the PL and that's why we see these prices.
    Overall Spurs punch just slightly above their weight and that's down to Levy. On top of that he's building us a mega million stadium. WTF are you moaning about <laugh>

    Anderlecht screwed us - by selling Defour to Burnley and Praet to Sampdoria, there was no way they'd sell us Tielemans.
