On a side note Spurlock, not taking the piss but I am generally interested, because I have lots of Muslim friends and would be interested to hear what parts of the faith you adhere to and which that you dont.

Some of my muslim friends gamble and drink and eat non halal meat for example.
Pretty much all of them have had pre marital sex and some of them imbibe other drugs.
Yet they still wont eat pork

I find it fascinating

As for weed, God made it for a reason...it taps into a deep part of my psyche and I enjoy that...it's not tobacco..yet that is legal and therefore socially accepted.

Being a Muslim is no different to any other person...we all have battles with the self, sometimes you are winning, sometimes you are losing. However we give God his dues in every way we can. I go to Friday prayers..then pick up a Eighth on my way home....I roll a Spliff(doobie) and discuss the glory of God with a few homies who were also at the mosque...but that's our thing..i don't steal,offend and I'm nice to old ladies.

Our faith is integrated into our lives...so like a marriage, a job, relationships with mates, money etc....faith also comes a cropper to ones own downfalls now and again..however it's still mine and for me to get through with it...rest is up to the Lord himself...may he forgive me for my downfalls....Amen Brother.
