    20170930_200731.jpg I have the Colmans shirt .
Just like the Rowntree factory it will get canned and probably move to Poland and I will start buying Aldi own brand generic English mustard.
Good old Globalism at least we still have a good old fashioned British car factory Nissan.

Most people are ashamed to be English now and consider themselves European so a dozen people wearing old shirts will make zero Impact , it has a very scratchy collar too.

I have a different version of that. I wear it Saturday evenings in the season for a couple of hours after we have finished our H3 (hash house harriers) run/walk. Got my hash name, Mustard Gas, because of it.

Sad to see but as always there is no sentiment in football. Tough decisions have to be made.

Hucks will always be a NCFC legend and hero! <cheers>

Poor old Das Finz, alias James Finbow, alias Superman and his king of Spain pyjamas has been getting inordinate amounts of flak on twitter for supporting SW's judgement in all this.
Several people working on the proviso that Hucks was here longer than Webber, so SW should go first <yikes> <doh>

He always gets a lot of stick for holding out for his beliefs.
Whether those are all correct or not is debatable.
But he wasn't one for shirking or dodging the issue.
Shame we lost him on here but as a writer sometimes for MFW, he's moved on, clearly.
I value his input and sentiments and always have, despite disagreeing on occasion <ok>

That wasn't aimed at you Cromercanary, I don't remember you falling out with him. It was aimed at a few that are no longer with us

Nobody is right all the time. We say what we believe to be true, but there is always room for different opinions. Like most, I've always admired Hucks, and the classy way he has responded to this latest development confirms that for me.

Much as I like the new structure, I'm not prepared to accept anything until it's proved in practice. We lost valuable points finding out that the theory didn't work in practice. Recent results have improved the situation, but we're still struggling to catch-up. I hope the good form continues and we push on, but I've been a City supporter too long to accept that a wonderful future is just around the corner because we've made changes. SW's decisions have to be proved by results, not rhetoric.

When will the penny drop? Brexit doesn't bother me as I am entitled to either French or British citizenship or both depending upon what is negotiated but in all of this Colmans/Britvic/Proctor and Gamble situation nobody mentions that it is part of a new overall plan by these big Companies to move more production overall to mainland Europe and this is one of many such examples Why are Nissan planning to treble the size of their plants in France if they intend to leave production in Britain if the UK leaves the single market? When I was a kid the biggest employers in Norwich were the shoe factories, Boulton and Paul and Lawrence Scott all making items for sale internally and abroad. Now the biggest employers are Aviva, the County Council and the NHS. After Brexit you can agree trade deals with all of the world but what have you got to sell? It is true that Europe would lose out in a trade war because they sell more to the UK than the UK sells to Europe but the loss to Europe will be shared by 27 Countries whereas the UK loss falls fair and square on the UK. Nothing wrong with being proud to be English/British and waving the Union Jack but do its people realise the potential mire they are walking into?

Or like so many voters who were deluded by the 'NHS Bus' etc and opted for us to leave the EU

He was a good poster but came across as very condescending for example he claimed Gary Hooper was our best striker and would clearly finish top scorer in the Championship when we got relegated.
There was no iffs or buts he was right others were wrong.
Some sycophants on here would claim he was always correct because he knew an Austrian journalist or something.
Many on here have differing opinions but to call others out for being wrong based on nothing is a tad arrogant.
I liked Carrabu and Munky but I don't see many crying about them leaving.

Not today but back when the other options were Grabban, Becchio Lafferty, and Wolfswinkle I couldn't believe he didn't get more game time. From memory his "goals to minute" stats suggested this also.
