It maybe has no merit but as things stand I certainly wouldn't be surprised if things did go this way.
When I see the preparations at the Excel and hear today of the morgue being built at Birmingham Airport to house 1,500 bodies....I really don’t know what to believe anymore. A month ago I would of said that would of been pure fantasy
I'm not being arumentitive with you I am just saying there are many of these things doing the rounds on Social Media... which brings us on to Russia and the EU accusing them of 'disinformation'. https://euobserver.com/coronavirus/147905 Now I can believe that, because Putin has a massive ego and has problems with people who don't show him/Russia attention. Who cares about Russia at the moment? Why do you think their fleet is off our coast? I wouldn't be surprised if half these things have come from them.
TBH if those figures from that article were to be believed I think those morgues in Birmingham and London would be pretty unless. I am going with the Chief medical officer on this one and hope he is right.
We’re talking about what looks to be a minimum of 20,000 deaths, possibly many more, in a very short period of time mate. Even the ‘best’ result is horrendous for our infrastructure, we just aren’t built for it. We’ll probably hit 1,000 deaths overall by Sunday, then it will start going up in Italian/Spanish daily numbers by the end of next week. We desperately need the Italian numbers to start coming down so we have some positives to look forward to. What I don’t get is what Germany is doing differently. Was just on the phone with a colleague over there, they seem to have exactly the same social distancing measures in place as we do. They are testing loads more people of course. And probably they are better resourced overall.
I would think further restrictions are inevitable. Where we are now won’t be the full picture. Listening to lbc at the moment, talking about housing/moving etc. Selling up to try and get through this is not an option, the ‘expert’ ‘wonders’ if the housing market will crash and house prices drop like a stone. I see no good outcomes here, the financial devastation will be enormous, far worse than the virus. People will be ruined by this dismantling of our lives. Anyone got the numbers of daily deaths month by month over the last 3 or so years?
Some less depressing news. Apparently the players, including Eze are phoning up senior season ticket holders for a chat, see how they are, just to raise spirits No I am not stupid, I know its all staged,...but isn't that nice. Well I think it is
Boody hell Dave my french mate reckons it could be until 2nd May (however he is a drama queen) stay safe mate.
I've heard the same about it going on until May. Got a good friend who works in tourism and just spoke to him, gutted for him, his business is done for this year.
What do you reckon the chances are that he'll be able sneak in our stadium and training ground planning permissions through the back door whilst he's in the hot seat?
