I assume staff will get their 80% pay from the Government. Hopefully someone is on top of that. I bet there are plenty of employers who aren't.
I will be watching Wycombe videos on Youtube from the 1990's all afternoon while drinking local cider as the cider farm is still open and my mate got me a gallon this morning
I'm getting low on supplies now only 2 crates of beer and a dozen bottles of rum left .my daughter has been shopping for us so have plenty of food left.been in the garden most of the time but not today it's like a bloody hurricane out there. Been listening to music and watching all the old football games on YouTube so keeping myself entertained, now it's time for a beer before my lovely roast dinner .keep safe lads
I've been busy importing racing data and analysing last year's 2yos. Plus I'm updating a system I built for Amanda to run her business. Apart from that we still have our horses to look after; no change there. Microsoft Jigsaw and card games keeps me occupied when I get really bored. I get rid of the adverts by disconnecting from the internet
Plenty of scope for a lot more Ron. Only a minimum 6 months to go........ Had a day off weeding and stuff today. I told her today was a religious day and if a day off was ok for God then it's bleddy ok for me. She gave me a dead leg and said if I can't walk outside then I can't walk to the fridge for a can either. I'm beginning to hate her already and it's only the end of week one. I wonder if the domestic murder rate might be a bigger killer than this virus in the end. I crawled to the fridge for info just to really piss her off.
I went shopping today. No choice but to go as it is impossible to get anything delivered anymore as they are booked up until 2025. I kept my distance except for one bloke at the check out who decided the best place to park his trolley was in the cleft of my buttocks. I turned, winked at him, pursed my lips and blew him a silent kiss. That sorted him out as he was soon 4 yards away and looking anywhere but at me. There was a story about Easter Egg sales being banned because they were not considered essential and shops should not be selling them. They've had them in stock since January 1st so what are they supposed to do with them. I bought, along with non essentials, 4 bottles of wine, a crate of lager, 2 packets of Jelly Babies and some chocolate. Nobody told me off.
I'm not allowed out at all because I'm very vulnerable to the virus ,I used to hate shopping of any kind but right now a trip to the supermarket would feel like a week in devon absolute heaven. it's funny the things that used to annoy you now feel like luxury.all this time on my hands and I cant do much more in the garden because I need supplies from the garden centres and b&q .keep safe all
