1. Docherty - absolutely everywhere, me top quality too. 2. Magennis - great hold up play, neat penalty, grown approach to placating Wilks. 3. Honeyman - canny passing. Burke and Elder also very good.
Docherty- drive , energy, running ,tackling , passing, a human dynamo Magennis - played well nice penalty and gallant in giving Wilks a goal Alfie Jones - did the Smallwood role very well Think we were lucky with both penalties, but who cares as we were worthy winners Well done boys
Magennis Docherty Honeyman Special mention for Elder who apart from the odd off week has been excellent this season.
He was probably MOTM until the 2nd pen. Strong, determined running. As a result of one run got brought down & got a pen. Grabbed the ball and basically offered all of City out. Shoving and pushing, head into Coyle's face, because he wanted to take the pen. Poor show. In the end Magennis (the pen taker) handed it over to him. Good job he scored. Still a bit of afters. Wonder if Magennis will write on this match ball 'Well done daft c**t'
Magennis Doc Jones As others have said, Wilks might've had a shout until he decided to be a massive bellend.
1. Keane Lewis-Potter (Won the penalty and deserved a goal today. Great performance) 2. Josh Magennis (Great penalty and set up Burke's goal. Put in a real shift this game. Even in defence) 3. Greg Docherty (Another good performance and another player who desereved a goal today) Honourable mention to Alfie Jones
Magennis was excellent today (didn't expect to be saying that). Clear MotM. 2nd & 3rd is hard to call. Magennis Burke (took that goal really well for a CB, and otherwise solid) Docherty (could have been plenty of others 2nd & 3rd .... Coyle, Elder, Honeyman, Jones, KLP (if only he could put away a chance). .... thought Wilks was poor until bursting into life later on, but then acted like a right twat).
Wilks - passionate, dangerous and a real handful all the game. KLP - Tore them to pieces on the left. Set the tempo Doc - kid showed everything.
