That’s it isn’t it. He said he was brought in as a consultant and surprised to be asked to implement the plan. Ok while he had the right team to do that but not when it was all down to him. He was book smart, not street smart and when they put him on the street he came back with a bag lady (Gabbi) rather than a supermodel (e.g Grazziano)
I expect he's had a slice of humble pie and dropped down a peg or two. I've a feeling he'll come good and be an example of individual man management.
Really hope Ralph gives him the opportunity, what I seen the other day for the Swiss u21 I was quite impressed.
Saints have applied to build a medical facility at Staplewood for treating players on site. Further down it says that it is an application for temporary permission for three years, whatever that implies. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/19205420.saints-want-provide-medical-block-staplewood-campus/
Bad news for @LincolnSaint good news for the rest of us. Edit: bad news for @ChilcoSaint as well TBF!
True but I think Ralph is genuine when he says he will see out his contract here. Also, to come out publicly and say that sounds positive regarding the sale of the club. I may be putting 2 and 2 together and making 5 but Ralph has voiced his need to be backed in the transfer market recently. If we get owners this summer who will back Ralph I think we could be in for a very exciting few years.
While I’m cynical, at least this time we don’t have Les Reed around trying to play chicken with suddenly rich mid table clubs re: our manager.
Elyounoussi is an interesting case. He didn't even look like a footballer in his appearances for us. But he keeps doing well for Celtic and his country. Be interesting to see what Ralph makes of him in the summer.
