In a heartbeat. Yes I know he's a prick, but if we where struggling with 15 minutes to go and I could see him warming up, I'd immediately feel better.
park your realism at the door, the window is not open yet. just go into FM2021, appoint a PSG manager put in the bid for all the cash they have plus add mbappe to the deal. then you have to abuse mbappe to the point here he wants to go. simples. you might even then have enough cash to buy haaland.
if its compared to origi inability to control ball or do anything sure why compared to what? not. If its to collect 200k per week for 10mins work, no thanks. watching fowler waddle about at times was sad I cannot help but feel that suarez would struggle to make that work. He's done the business at atletico but played most games so was fully fit and up to speed bar one small injury. Not playing bar 10/15 mins makes no sense. I would take him to play. period. looking at firmino we might as well have that other option.
No thanks to Suarez. Love him as a player but we need to be looking towards the future - the squad is ageing and we need to blood new talents. I think Sancho is a realistic option.
its not, we are playing ball tickler. We are only checking in in case someone comes in and gets one of our players to say they want to go. With woodward going utd might even just bid the 85million and the job will be done easily. But he is going to utd.
Thing with Phillips is it depends if we have interest and how much. If someone is willing to buy for £10m and it means we can afford Kabak perm for £18m then sure. if we’re only getting offers of £5m for him, what’s the point? We’re not buying anyone better for that amount to come be 4/5th choice (see Ben Davies for 3.5m as an example). easy to say should keep should sell but don’t know what’s gonna happen and how much interest there is and what selling him could impact incomings etc
With the way we've done our latest transfer business, I wouldn't rule out getting Suarez on a pay as you play type deal. He's not the future but surely - as things stand pandemic and finances wise - he's more realistic than Haaland or Mbappe who would be luxury additions.
as a question, why would he leave atletico and why would they want him to go? I know he might have some sort of walk for free deal but he has another year so why move? He has a CL club where is will be main man and is in spain where he wanted to be.
Only linked to Suarez because of the past, no chance we sign him. Wants to live in Spain and is continuing to win trophies and play champions league football.
It would always depend on whether he wants a return to the PL and us and sees it as another challenge? His contract has a clause that he can leave for free on 30th June 2021. He would be coming to play in the CL
