Always seems busy to me when I drive past it. Called in a few times for bits and bobs in the past. Handy car park for the dentist as well (although I think that might belong to the Blue Bell (or is it the Bluebell now?)) Another Lidl incoming to SR6 perhaps?
Surely not, the locals wouldn't stand for it, they only carry notes down that end. Fiver'land hasn't got the same ring to it.
The suddickers are en route.....it's an invasion I'm tellin' ya! Foster's cans all over the place by mid-August.
As an SR6’er, I’d say I’m surprised but we will just send out our butlers to Morrison’s down the way instead.
'butlers', in the plural, love it. Been in that Morrisons far to many times for my own liking, average age is about two hundred and eighty six. Purple rinse brigade in every aisle. It needs demolishing imo, a caravan park would be class on that site.
Army...Bet you stop saying nasty things about us oldies when it's your turn and get to 70+,it's really hurtful
Morrisons is a decent outlet, very handy for a choc ice in the warm weather and the Fish Counter and Bakery is first class, the Restaurant used to be, but has dipped slightly, the Sainsbury store at Fulwell was always a bit dingy compared to the one at North Hylton which has a fine view of Penshaw from the cafe which is also good value. Sunderland the City of Cultural Cafe Society, old and new, I feel a book coming on.
Is that cos. I'm folliclely challenged Rooch, but still that's the nicest thing you've said to me in ages
Sea Road the former home to the most famous resident of the city that nobody in Sunderland has heard of. Anybody want have a guess at who it was?
There's a blue plaque on the wall of the large building near the roundabout, under redevelopment by the Indians... He was something to do with bomber command?
