Like most, I don't know much about him but Luton fans rate him which is always a positive. At least it should quieten everyone moaning about not signing anyone. I can't remember the last time we signed somebody weeks before pre-season starts
I’ve seen him a few times and I thought he was excellent, I was surprised he opted for Luton and Barnsley (no disrespect) but I guess you go where you can get a contract. He’s good on the ball, he’s a decent, hardworking player and he can hit a free kick. His first task is his hardest, which is breaking into that midfield trio. But even if he doesn’t start, he’s a very good option from the bench if other teams are tiring. Good start to our recruitment, that.
I've seen him a few times, first time was when he was at Colchester, but he was still a youngish lad, talented but raw. The last time I saw him play in person was the 2018-19 season and he looked pretty good then, though if memory serves he came off after 60 minutes because he'd taken a pretty hefty knock to the head. He definitely looked better than League One standard, but I've not seen him in the Championship. I've heard from their fans that he's done really well since joining them and he seemed to do alright at Barnsley in a pretty **** team. For a player that's come in to provide cover/competition, he's a decent squad option for me.
Expect to see a lot of him outside Maccies in Hull City Centre. His entire Instagram is just videos of him preaching verses from the bible.
Was really good that Grant went on sportstalk tonight too, they've posted a 2min clip on twitter but the interview on there was a fair bit longer. He spoke glowing about Moncur's character and also that there should be another 1/2 through the door this week. Noticed on twitter too, that Dion Charles liked a post wanting him to be the next one in. Must've been accidental as he quickly unliked it, but no idea what he's doing looking at our Twitter. It's just really good to see us active early. At this rate, much of the business will be done by the start of pre season.
Why this question repeatedly as if people can't offer an opinion if they haven't? Sounds a good option replacing Crawley's role in the squad (depth for Honeyman), while also giving us flexibility across the front three.
