Apparently Rafa was offered a contract and was expected to sign officially for Everton on Thursday, but his close friends have told him to bide his time to see what happens with us. He had another meeting with Everton on Thursday and Friday. Will be interesting to see.
I'm with Chaos on this one. I've said several times that depending on a successful outcome with arbitration, he will be our next manager.
So...twitter rumours repeating what I suggested this morning. Not just me saying it. I was told this by someone I trust. PL has failed to get CAT case thrown out.
Arbitration begins in 9 days. That is unless a settlement is reached beforehand. CAT - after arbitration. If arbitration fails the focus of the CAT case will be on the PL and whether their ODT breaches competition law. If the CAT case is withdrawn voluntarily it is highly suggestive of a settlement or that arbitration has been successful. Arbitration begins 28th June. Because the focus Is one narrow issue - the legal status of PIF - I wouldn't expect it to last more than one week. The decision may take several weeks however unless NUFC exercises their right for an expedited judgement. They can request this if a delay will prejudice the club. Delay in planning for the new season due to uncertainty would be a valid ground.
