No, no - we should accept their first bid of £80m + two players

Dias & Foden okay with everyone?

Failing that, anyone know the going rate to have Tay Conti kick Sheikh Mansour in the balls?

He’s always maintained that won’t need to happen and that the debt - whilst huge - is manageable and long term. He’s admitted it’s not been easy these past 12-18 months in fan-board meetings but I’m 99% certain whatever we make from Kane’s or anyone else’s departures, will go straight back into the team. It’s generally always been the case. The issues people have had with Levy/ ENIC in the past is that (outside of FFP coming in) they haven’t invested too much in to the squad from their own pocket, but they reinvest just about everything.

The Levy comments I referred to about reinvesting were (again IIRC) made after the completion of the stadium build. I also think it wouldn’t be silly at all to reinvest in the squad vs paying down the debt - a few years of CL qualification will do far more for us than a one off cash injection as it’s better for the long term financial future of the club to be finishing further up the table and taking part in European competitions. I think I’m right in saying that top 4 is worth a Kane fee every year, if we’re talking £100m plus for the player.

    Typical Spurs.

We finally get the CB who’ll hopefully plug our leaks but now we won’t have the striker to score the goals <laugh>.

The debt is locked in at low interest and costs very little. It would be silly to pay it down. NFL matches and various other events are scheduled for the autumn so hopefully we will rake in money now.

So here's a couple of nuggets from The Pathetic

    • Kane spoke to a senior non-English Sheikh Mansour Team player prior to Monday to inform him of his desire to join the club.

    • Some at Mansour FC became aware over the weekend that Kane’s intention was not to train or play for Spurs again.
So place your bets: which player did he speak with and why do you think it was Kevin de Bruyne?

So, here we are again. We've got a top, top player...and we're not in the running for top honours. Even worse than when we went through this with Berbatov, Modric and Bale, we're not even in the Europa League this time. We're stuck in a competition that ranks lower than the Eurovision Song Contest.

Anybody with half a brain could see what was coming this summer. The England captain was going to want to go to a club that had a chance of getting him some nice shiny medals and pay him enough money to live out 20 lifetimes in total luxury. It's what top players do. Our problem is that our response can only be likened to a wife who finds her husband has been ****ing her mother, sisters and best friend. We're going to spend the rest of this transfer window going through the most traumatic of divorces and drawing this out to extract revenge and every last penny...even if it takes us up to the last minute of the window and ****s up our pre-season and ****s all over Nuno's daunting start to the fortcomin campaign.

FFS, please just state the price and the closing date and stop acting like this hasn't happened before...Please Daniel, just ****ing get on with it, so that we can build again. He wants to leave...he's going to leave...let's sell him for an achievable price and start spending, so we don't waste another season....

BUT we won't. Levy's got one setting and he loves this bollocks...and he gives not one **** that it's damaging to the club.

    Levy OUT!

    We have stated the price

The Sheikh Mansour Team are pretending they couldn't click their fingers and pay it in a heartbeat

    Levy IN, motherfuckers

He was told we'd fine him two weeks wages for every day he doesn't come in, didn't he?

Oh well, looks like the Romero bonuses have been covered already...

Remember how I keep saying players represented by their relatives are a perpetual pain in the ass, be it Patrick Vieira telling Arsenal he'd get his big brothers to have a word with them or the consistent doolally state of Adrien Rabiot and his bonkers mother?

I can't think why this has sprung to mind now...

So here's a sentence from the Independent...

When reports came out last week that the London club would agree to a sale, some senior figures appended laughing emojis to messages linking the stories. It was seen as preposterous.

He's really angry at the other journalists that keep bringing up Barca! <laugh>
I don't know if it was some weird negotiation tactic by Atalanta, but they couldn't get involved.
They can't even register the players they've signed, at the moment.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Kane. If he's genuinely missing in an attempt to force the sale, I've lost all my respect for him. Spurs have done everything for him over the years to keep him happy. It's fair enough if he wants to move on but there are more respectable ways of doing this without sulking.

In my opinion, Levy should stick to his price and simply fine Kane for not turning up. MCFC are driving this and should be reported to the FA if there's evidence.

I would be quite happy for Kane to suffer the same treatment as Danny Boy. No-one is bigger than the club.

The mirror reports that Kane is in Covid lockdown until the end of the week and will not return until he givev2 clear tests , if this is true why have both parties not made this known instead of letting this **** show continue
