I think they should be quite excited with what they have looking at the table. He shouldn't just walk into the team given QPR's form.
WFC confirm Jaime Alvarado has joined Racing de Ferrol on loan, while Marc Navarro has left the club.
Breaking: I'm told Domingos Quina is on the verge of joining Fulham; Fulham have also opened talks with Watford over Nathaniel Chalobah, looks like both midfielders could join the Cottagers late in the day here.
Which reminds me - for anyone interested, Sonny Blu-Lo Everton should be on TV on Saturday. Yeovil's match against FC Halifax is being televised on BT Sport - 17:15 kick-off.
Contract cancelled by mutual consent. He's probably overjoyed as he doesn't have to go to Bulgaria now...
Ask your dad if he went to a Watford v Northampton wartime fixture around 1944. If he did, he would have seen my dad playing for Northampton...
Some Italian journalists are now reporting that this deal will not be happening. Earlier Ryan Gray (Watford Observer) reported: "Okay, a bit of an update on some reports from Italy this afternoon regarding Nahitan Nandez. The club are interested but for now aren't sure it's one they can get over the line this afternoon. That's not to say things couldn't change between now and the end of the day, but at the moment it's looking unlikely." Adam Leventhal (the Athletic) later wrote: "Midfield reinforcements may still come in, but it's understood that Cagliari's Nahitan Nandez is not currently a target."
https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19547485.live-updates-watford-transfer-deadline-day/ News dribbling in. I was hoping for a decent CB, but I won´t hold my breath. Any cover at CB is not worth it, we have cover. But, enough cover?
Agree with this. We have only four CBs. How many of them - apart from Sierralta - are now good enough for the Premier League? Two of them have a history of injuries and another will be away at AFCON for five weeks. The full backs are also a concern. There is clearly a problem when one of those four CBs (a player who lacks pace) has had to play the opening three PL games as the right back.
True and Ngakia seems to be one or those Munoz isn’t sure about. I agree - we seem to have a blind spot for defenders since the first Pozzo PL season .
