Bruce hadn't lived in Newcastle for decades before he got the managers job. Still lives in the Midlands doesn't he?
The first few times he said it, I thought the same; that he was being sarcastic and imitating MOTD pundits and how they talk down to the small clubs in the PL. Then he kept saying it, and saying it in the context of the Allams saving the club and doing a lot for the city in general, and it started to sound more and more like we should be eternally grateful for the Allams ‘civilising the natives’. The city gave Allam and his family a leg up in life after he fled Egypt, not the other way around. Hull would still be here without Allam, but it’s debatable whether Allam would still be here without Hull and not another victim of Nasser’s regime.
It’s not a bloody assumption, i literally read what you wrote in reply to my post. Make your points by all means, but don’t quote me like you are putting me right.
You go to support team and not have a go at the manager or players . The forum is to discuss the pros and cons of people, the team and life . You call for the manager to go here . Abuse directed to kiddies is not on under any circumstances.
For all the Allams think their legacy in Hull is their money to Hull hospitals their legacy will be remembered for their inept management of Hull city and the disrespect to people who go in week in week out to support a cide whilst they take out high interest payments
Im too long in the tooth to expect someone who's essentially a sole trader to walk away from a payoff. I did expect Ehab to pay up on is his contract and appoint someone with a track record.
Tell cancer patients that. Allams got into this for the right reasons initially. They should have been legends in this city. The fact they've alienated everyone - and I include current members in this... Anyone still gives a **** is there for the love of the club. Nothing less. Despite it being made as hard as possible by the Allam management style since 2014. And to be fair, there were signs of it with the Barmby tenure also. They've done good things, but they've also scored spectacular own goals and defined themselves as the way they are perceived. I don't think they're the malevolent devil's some say. But I do think they've come across as wolves in sheep's clothing. Mainly because by their actions, they've reneged on every positive intent they ever had for the sake of ego, protectionism and pursuit of individualistic power and influence. They're not in it for the good it the community. They're in it to pursue their own agenda under the guise of being a community minded benefactor. They've shown that by ****ing their current members over to get to the ones who got. Militant about the name change. Pulling the financial plug for all to spite their perceived enemies. That's unforgiveable and shows them for what they truly are.
If it’s true about the players not wanting too talk too burnsy , our form and league position doesn’t have much hope of improving if they are that weak minded . Let’s hope they never have too deal with a Piers Morgan or similar bellend
