What if Ralph has it in his head that 40 points is safe and he has let the players become complacent because of that? Sorry Ralph, but I’m considering joining the Out brigade.
Love Ralph but things have somehow gotten a combination of stale and extremely volatile. Wouldn’t be sad to see him go and I think we probably need a big change.
Well that was absolutely pathetic. Beyond pathetic tbh from everyone involved. Seemed like it took Brentford about 5 minutes to work we weren't very good or even very interested. In fact the only people to come out of today with any credit are the supporters (bar the minority bellend element). Absolute fantastic support which the team didn't deserve frankly. Anyone who thinks that Ralph is completely safe is hugely mistaken btw. The tide has turned in recent months and he desperately needs a good start to next season. That Armstrong for Romeu sub was a joke. Bednarek is done here and shouldn't play the rest of the season. Hope we're more interested against Liverpool as that could get really embarrassing. UTFS
Glad I missed it. I’ll be honest, doubts creeping in. I’m going to lose my son to Arsenal at this rate!
We're clearly going to lose to Liverpool. There's no ifs, buts or maybes about that. So essentially this is now us finished until last day. In the meantime, we have to watch Everton play four times, Leeds play three times, and Burnley play twice. I do still think we'll be OK, but I wouldn't be putting money on it. I'm absolutely confident that we won't be in the bottom three when we kick off against Leicester, but if results don't go our way over the next two weeks, we might be within three points of 18th. Because thanks to today, that is out of our hands now.
Possibly, but the overall point still stands that he has kept us up during a lean spell financially for the club. I don’t think that would be a given for a lot of managers. And depending what the monetary situation is this summer bringing in a new manager is rolling the dice in my view Sounds like I’m in the In camp, I’m not really. On the fence basically,
I'm still in the Ralph in camp BUT I think that he needs assisting with his defensive coaching and a couple of experienced leaders on the pitch would help massively too.
I reckon you should do the Liverpool match thread, we are going to get tanked anyway......so you can be miserable as you like.
Similar. I’ve never been RH out although very critical of him regardless of the few magic moments, in particular this season. Love his passion & enthusiasm but I’ve always doubted him (from his LB-RB / RB-LB days). Anyway, for all our posturing, it’s the owners decision; tough one. Edit: Looking forward to listening to TSP tomorrow. I assume it’ll be one of Dan Sheldons last & I think he’ll be calling it straight, as will Glen as always.
Remember how arrogant our fans were towards Villa last summer and now we are all secretly grateful to them.
I’d be very surprised if he does given new ownership. I think we are at the point where everyone has given all they can, players and management. We have needed an injection of talent for years to be able to compete. We’ve recruited well but not deep enough. Consequently we don’t have the ability to shift gears this late in the season we are struggling up a hill with nothing in the tank. This is certainly the most difficult position Ralph has been in in his tenure. I don’t think we will get anything more than a point and likely nothing to finish the season. We are in the hands of other teams now and that’s not good.
