We got 810k for De Wijs ! We also let 10 players go and have bought in 4. Bonne and Kelman's wages aren't as much as Austin's or Gray's were, so we have definitely made some money.
Where did you source that De Wijs figure? Letting 10 players go and bringing in 4 doesn't mean we've made money. It means we're losing a fraction less money each month. Our accounts come out every year and they are never pretty.
What about JCH from Peterborough? Always seems to score goals and better than Bonne or Dykes, in my opinion. We need to shop at LIDL rather than nowhere.
The fact is,We've got players that reflect the clubs expenditure, cheap. its been the same for years and probably won't change in the next ten years,or longer. The policy seems to be,to see what players are left after everyone else has passed on them then see if they are cheap or even better free..its not a rant just the way I see My club..multiple loans and free transfers are not a way to be successful..MB must be wishing he never signed for us..long hard season ahead as is most seasons
I'd like to think that the club laid out how things would be before Beale signed. Having said that, they aren't covering themselves in glory right now so who knows?
Don't worry guys we are going to walk this league in style, punching 20 tons above our weight. Get your bets on now, tell your mate Bobmid so he can get his 10k back. Remember where you heard it first.
Not sure I quite trust transfmarket when the clubs both say it's undisclosed, but even if it's right, the fee doesn't cover even one month of the losses the club incurs each year.
Not sure why there is such negativity around, played really well for 1st 30 mins as an away club at an away ground where we always lose. As long as full backs don't get injured, we have Roberts, Richards, Amos and Willock to come in so I'm still excited about this season. Need a striker immediately but rest can wait. Also interesting that MB said we would move to a 3-5-2 at some point!
