Disgusting player. Never seen anything like it. Just a goal scoring robot. He makes it look absolutely effortless
This is something that, IMO, needs to be looked at very closely by the authorities especially with the way that the highest level players have been allowed to continue haranguing officials with relative impunity for so many years. Top level rugby does not allow officials to be pressured by players and it is reflected in the behaviour of players and fans at all levels, including grassroots, where I have witnessed a teenage referee being called Sir by a middle aged fan, who had made a comment on an infringement missed by the ref. A FOOTBALL referee suffered a broken nose and ribs after he showed a red card during an amateur game. Match official Dave Bradshaw was also left with a dislocated shoulder, a broken collarbone, concussion and whiplash following the assault. He was officiating a match on Sunday between Platt Bridge and Wigan Rose, in the South Lancs Counties division. A spokesman from Greater Manchester Police yesterday confirmed they had arrested a suspect, describing it as a “serious assault”. Writing on social media, the referee said: “Been a very traumatic 12 hours. I’ve sustained substantial injuries. I’ll survive, my confidence has been smashed to bits.” Platt Bridge FC said: “We are ashamed of what has happened and the player is no longer playing with our team.”
Whoever committed that assault needs to be jailed and banned from football for life. It's shameful to attack someone who gives up their spare time to referee their match. I've taken my fair share of verbal abuse over the years but thankfully that's as far as it's gone with me. Whenever I go over to the States to referee a tournament in the summer, the referees are always made to feel very welcome. When I'm on the line, most games I get talking with parents/coaches during a stoppage in play and they always say thank you for coming over and they are genuinely grateful. And the players over there always call me sir.
It’s a bit of a two way street. Obviously nobody should be getting assaulted for reffing a game and the person who did this should face hefty punishment for his actions. I’ve had refs before who are complete ****s and LOVE the fact that they get to boss around 22 people for 90 mins on a Saturday, these refs get no respect from the players as they show none to them. Some refs are fine and in my experience don’t get anywhere near the verbals that the ****s get
On a lighter note. Anyone having problems using their wildcard on the premier league fantasy site? Just does not work for me. 'Make transfers' to confirm multiple changes is shaded grey. Even looked at a youtube walkthrough. can't see what I'm doing wrong. It's like a glitch!

Got the city game on, in the background, and the ref has spent as much time watching the tv as I have been doing. We must have tired Haaland out on Saturday.

Unless Farnborough have an absolutely ridiculous collapse, Hampshire's finest non league club are going to the first round proper of the fa cup for the first time in their history!!!
They did it! First round proper for the first time! Hoping for a local (to me) away day. Northampton would be nice as I've not been there before or Oxford United
Feel sorry for him. He's been on fire. If Walker is ruled out as well, surely...surely Southgate will... ...actually no, he probably won't.
