It’s just three random blokes (genuinely is) who are oddly fascinated by the under-18 transfer market - and have now clocked that they get some attention and play to the crowd by sharing other reports. They seem ITK sometimes because they get info on youngsters because nobody else cares enough to look into/publicise the movements of those age groups that much - and it’s not particularly closely-guarded for movements at those age groups either.
Sweet Dreams are made of cheese Needed a striker and we sign James Bree. We scour the world for decent fees Andre Ayew's signing for Soton (sorry, that's nightmare fuel )
If we are prepared to pay the release clause, then why the f*ck are waiting to the final 48 hours to say so. Why didn't we do this on January 1st?
Presumably the agent/club didn’t want to tell people about the existence of the clause before now? Happens a lot - and quite often it’s in writing that the agent can’t disclose it without the club’s permission etc. Although it can be hard to govern.
Can only assume it is down to indication of interest from the player. Because the same criticism could be levied at any club who meets it - such as if Brighton succeed in getting him. The other option is that it might have been hoped that a lower fee was possible or one in instalments
Probably a rhetorical question. But, it's more of case of having to pay a release clause - or top dollar now. After chasing wingers and cheaper strikers. Real 11th hour shizzle
Or Vitinha's agent warned off lesser teams in the hope/expectation that he'd be receiving bids from bigger fish, but made it known later in the window that he would be receptive to other PL sides or the likes of Marseille. Braga's total wage bill is, no joke, probably less than what we pay our top two earners...he has a pretty substantial incentive to move somewhere in this window.
I’m not on Twatter, and know **** all about it. But this Saints Extra account is just some random making stuff up, right? That much seems obvious.
Meltdown always makes me laugh. It is and has been obvious to every fan, pundit, current and ex manager, probably the players, that we have needed a striker for well over a year. Realisation is that we are BOTTOM of the premier league and in current form etc, will be relegated with what we are currently running with. A couple of new signings one of which needs to be a striker MAY Just give us a chance of staying up. Go with what we have, our chances of survival is in all honesty, slim. Not a meltdown just reality. This will be on SR’s head, but as fans we just have to get on with it and support whatever team is on the field. Just very disappointing to see every one of our relegation rivals significantly strengthen as I expect even Everton will get in 3-4 game changers today.just have a horrible feeling we’ll end up with no one today which will leave a lot of flatness around the club and the fan base as we enter February. But, hope I’m wrong
A justified meltdown is still a meltdown. Just not as entertaining as full on dummy spitting meltdowns before the worst has happened.
