Whilst I’m not in the Ange out camp, this end of season collapse where the players aren’t even trying could leave Levy with some decisions to make.

could we end up signing a load of players to suit Ange’s style, only to find out by Christmas, as some have suggested, that he’s out of his depth at this level?

or do we get rid and start again?

I don’t think the latter is the answer, but I won’t be surprised if Levy’s beginning to wonder.

 

I just want to point out I’m not advocating this as I think Ange deserves time despite looking very much out of depth but knowing how Levy works, if we bottle 5th (and even 6th… ****, even 7th the way we’re playing) I can see him looking at Tuchel being out of work as a very interesting proposition.

We’ve had 23 years of Levy, we know how he works.

Canned Jol for Ramos.
Canned Poch for Jose.
Finally got Conte after the Nuno debacle.
Tuchel will be out of work in the summer… and it’s worth adding a small extra detail; Tuchel is rumoured to be a Spurs fan, though that’s not been 100% confirmed.

It just screams the sort of thing Levy would do.
