http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/s...lallana-i-am-focused-on-england-30308084.html Footballers know exactly what to say to keep people guessing! Good job I'm optimistic!
He would have no thoughts of his future to put to the back of his mind if he was seeing out his contract here. He may stay, but my guess is he will be off to Liverpool or Spurs. I would like the board to just say no, but then I'd also like to be a size 8.
Come on lets all get a grip. If some-one offers silly money the Board and Adam are going to listen. Who wouldnt?
What about a new and improved deal from us? That would need sorting! I'm such an optimist, my car is going in the garage in a few days and I'm hopeful of minimal cost.....my car is 14 years old!
What else is he going to say? Adam Lallana admitted last night that he is no fit state to play any part In England's World Cup campaign. "I've told Woy I can't play. My head is not in the right place, and I want to hide under the duvet" In reference to press speculation that Lallana would be the difference between winning and losing in Rio, it is understood that his mum has asked for Adam to be sent home as "he isn't the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy". Mrs Lallana has said she doesn't want him mixing with those rough boys up North bringing to an abrupt end wild speculation that Lallana will sign for Liverpool.
I will pray for your car My car was ancient and got through 2 MOTs needing only a couple of wipers. Haven't given up on Adam...it is possible that offers don't turn out to be right and he may do a Gerrard and just not be able to leave. Fingers crossed.
The thing about close friends is that you have long conversations with them....wouldn't take them long to get things out of you...even if only by interpreting your silences and facial expression. And if they don't understand, they ask another question. Dogs with a bone. So yes, his closest friend(s) will know...though he may subsequently change his mind.
As those who frequent the off-topic threads well know, there are some things I'll confide in relative strangers on here before my closest friends.
Personally I'd tell my close friends. On the other side of the fence, if it Lallana was my friend and I was a saints fan I would force the answer out of him!
I think you've hit on one of the key differences between men and women there Fran: women talk to each other about feelings and emotions, while men almost never do.
