Just got in and I'm on an absolute high.

    Key takeouts for me:

    Passing
Clean, crisp and full of energy.. at time I thought we were rolling back the years.

    Organisation
Credit to Alan, everyone clearly knew their job.. none of the 'where am I supposed to be?' gesticulation to the bench.

    Effort
Everyone emptied the locker today and it showed. we seemed to be first to the ball n every occasion and the players showed a real hunger to win the ball back when not in possession.

    Abeid
The lad has grow physically and in terms of his game. A total ****ing beast of a performance. He seems to find an extra yard at will.

    Moussa
Simply a beast. covered every blade of grass and completely bossed the midfield along with Colback.

    Colback
The lad seems to get better and better. did all the simple things well and really adds bite for us. I'll say this here now... if Tiote goes and Colback continues to progress I'd have no qualms about our CDM position post departure.

    Janmaat
The lad had a really good game again for me. He's settling in quickly and I almost forgot my post Debuchy beeling for a bit.

    Krul
Looks as though he's had some kicking coaching as much better for this game than of late.

    Obertan
Never thought I'd say this but I felt deflated when he went off injured. the lad had jet heels once again and we are a much better team with him in the side.

In terms of Liverpool I thought they were really poor. The players didn't look like they gave a s**t to be honest and they seemed to be committing dirty little niggling fouls all over the place.. not the Liverpool way IMHO.

Anyway I have a hangover to cure with some Strongarm Ruby Red.

Nice review. Thoroughly agree! Great all around performance - again! Really chuffed for Abeid. He's waited and done his time on loan and has taken his chance. So happy about our team right now. I don't want the good feeling to end...

Colo was my MOTM... he was everywhere... literally... at one point he was our right winger!

Cracking performance. Everybody put in a good shift, again. Yes Liverpool were poor today, but we've now made them, City and Spurs all look quite average. That's not all fluke. That's also down to discipline, motivation and working together. Something has certainly changed in that dressing room during the last couple of weeks. Long may it continue.

SackPardew.Com are claiming that it is their campaign that has forced this change of fortune. Perhaps I should be thanking them instead of thinking they are an embarrassment to the club.

Really pleased by today. Briefly up to 9th (don't know any other results).
I, almost, maintain my position as at start of season. Many people will over react and claim relegation and call for Pardew's head and Ashley out. I thought we'd finish 8th, I'm now thinking 9th purely down to Southamptons current level.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. We'll have bad patches, good patches and finish comfortably but not pull up any trees unless things fall nicely for us.

Bliddy marvellous! Canny atmosphere at times as well. I was pretty much underneath the scousers. I saw a load of coppers going into them second half. Anyone know what happened?

They let off a flare, which they had no doubt took by accident from somebody else's bin.
