I'm into season 4 of "GOT", getting better if that's possible, my list of favourite characters is getting longer, the youngest stark girl and the dog, sorry Ment the hound, (for those that haven't seen it he's a big mother ****er with a burnt face) have been added....bloody Brilliant !!!!
I watched Lauda last night Been meaning to for a while Very good I'd forgotten some of the details from before his crash, particularly him campaigning about safety on that same circuit Great interviews with Jackie Stewart as well
That bit when he is recovering in hospital and forcing himself to take the treatment is a great moment, he was the first race driver I remember Lauda (probably because of his injuries) so always been aware of him, a great man
My daughter has one of those dogs, he really is a big fella; mind you my Border Collie takes no **** from any over grown mutt, she's awesome.
I really liked Martian only slightly spoilt at the end when he peirces his suite. Watched The Cobbler thought it was very good. Adam Sandler n Dustin Hoffman
Just watched Deadpool, very good. Thought the main actor was channeling a bit of Jim Carrey though it seemed to work pretty well, just had a look online and there seems to be a few debates about that, i have no problem with it. Carrey will be in with the hipsters again soon no doubt, once Tarantino casts him or something like that..
Day 129, film 129, "the deer hunter", haven't seen this film in a long time, just found it in my lads collection of old movies.... One of my all time favourites and the music is absolutely stunning !!!!!
"The deer hunter", forgotten how much I loved this film and the music still brings me almost to tears when I hear it....
Might as well do Apocalypse Now and Full Metal Jacket in the coming days, just to round off the Vietnam quota of films.
I know he's got apocalypse now ( great film), " I love the smell of napalm in the morning", but not sure of FMJ..... But great idea.!!!!!
