'Egg on their faces' Michael Gove chastises 'experts' for predicting post-Brexit doom

POLITICAL outcast Michael Gove rubbed salt into the wounds of Remainers by claiming the so-called economic experts who predicted a financial downturn after Brexit must now have egg on their faces.

Mr Gove, who infamously said the public had “had enough of experts” during Brexit discussions, said it was clear the Vote Leave contingent “know a darn sight more about economics” than the "soi-disant experts" who issued warnings ahead of the vote.

I wonder if he means the so called "remoaner" experts from here?

The topic, custard, is his comments about Muslim families 'evolving' as he calls it, through education.

He's been asked numerous times to explain his comments, not least by Spurlock, a Muslim himself. His only response is his numerous pathetic attempts at diversion and deflection.

I'm fairly certain of it. It mirrors the model of the handbrake within the EFTA that civil servants are working on. Whether it will form the basis of a long term agreement or whether it will be a temporary arrangement while the full terms of a trade deal with the EU are fleshed out is harder to know.

Doesn't mention coming to live, it just says you need a job offer. So foreign workers wanting to do cheap labour will still come, they just need to show there is cheap labour to do before they arrive by the employer offering a job.

I've not followed this tit for tat too closely but doesn't it just need you to clarify that you weren't inferring Muslims were in some way inferior?

His exact comment was that Muslim families could evolve'' through education. It was made in the context of The Queen possibly being related to Mohammed.

He's been asked to explain numerous times, but resorts to his usual tactics of divert and deflect. He's now in his usual second stage of repeat ad infinitum until you bore the opposition into submission.
