Fair point Roof, he looks good doesn't he and coming from Holland he's used to cold dark days too so not just a sunshine player.
Well either stump up a ridiculous amount of money after we find a replacement or do one! He's too important for us in our predicament.
Very excited....and can play both sides if need be , a bit of a bonts . .... and we need his assist capability . I*'m placing a lot of weight on how the team plays tomorrow under Clement .. his first game actually in charge . I'm expecting to see a more relaxed team than we've seen in awhile . BUT ... ive expected things before without them materialising
Remember after just a half season or so people were talking about 20 million for him .... how times change
Oh ****, hope not valley. If Costa does go then surely Chelsea would be looking for similar to replace him. As much as we love Loriente he's not in Costas class is he? Also it could mean that Batman wont be leaving too which would scupper the deal with Loriente. Wishful thinking out loud
I wasn't one of them Roof, he's always been a fair weather player to me. He's great when he's smiling but he doesn't seem to smile much these days unfortunately.
Most strikers will take half a season to get up to full speed, so I'm expecting Llorente to hit a bagful second half of this season, would be stupid to part company now, summer maybe, but not now, unless we really do want to go down.............
Exactly stumpy , happy players are good players and vise versa and Montero is an extreme case either way . Barrow seems to have fallen through the cracks too . And as much as I love Dyer ....Sorry . We really needed a boost on the wing and Narsingh is certainly it IMO . Might get to see him and Rouledge play together and change sides throughout the game , a big plus IMO .
Tomorow's game is so important, in fact it is vital the we see a performance from the players tomorrow. Its PC's first game, its the teams first game with nothing to hide behind, no complaints about poor managers, training no complaints to hide behind about anything. Tomorows game is a cup final and its against Arsenal, a top four team so if the team can't perform tomorrow then they never will imo. A poor performance tomorrow will show us that the team are just as bad and just as much to blame for everything as those we've blamed so far. I'm hoping for a win and I believe we can get it, but that is not essential, what is more essential is the performance, a good performance for the manger and for the fans.
Amen to that .... A good performance against a top team could be like a starters pistol for us , a bad performance and it won't be blanks ..lol
Oh, I forgot to say this ROOF, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WATCH THE GAME TOMOROW. I'll tell you all about it after the final whistle
I wasn't going to anyways ... between that and Lefty not going to the game, there are possibilities ...lol
Is Ki on his way out this window? Thought there was a Chinese club sniffing around offering him big wages
Payet is refusing to play for WHU. That's dragged them right into the relegation fight now. A couple of strong signings and we can get out of this mess.
I'm thinking Clement might have liked what he seen from KI ( and Cork for that matter ) and will probably hold onto him . If he does go , I can see Sunderland being very interested in him as he played well for them when Laudrup sent Ki on loan there . I think if Ki and Cork can get their sh!t together , they will be as regular in the line up as anyone ....that might change in a hurry though if Carroll actually signs
