Very popular back in his time was Manning, let's face it,you don't become a rich standing in front of half empty venues do you. Yep,Manning was one of many old school comics alright, some of whom were openly racist but again, back in those days, the working Mens clubs many frequented simply wanted people to make them laugh with th kind of stuff you heard at work. On a lighter note and moving forwards, comics such as Billy Connelly was genius at simply people watching and transferring that onto the stage. I find Paul Whitehouse funny, his eyes and facial expressions make you laugh, something modern day comics such as Peter Kaye obviously copied although Kaye is also a natural actor. Btw,Do you really think all scousers are useless,or was that aimed at being popular on here? Ironically Manning did the same, generalize that is,only his targets were usually foreigners and he,along with a few others basically became popular by being outspoken and loud, ring any bells?
So, the Human Comedic selection committee are deciding who to put up in the galactic comedy wars. The winning planet enjoys loads of good stuff like virtual sex booths, eternal life and low fat chicken nuggets and that. The losing planet is incinerated as an example to humourless bastards the Universe over. Our semi-finalists are Bernard Manning and Stewart Lee. (Don't ask why; it's a planet wide phone vote or summat). Anyway. Planet's about to be obliterated. Who do you back? Manning or Lee? Lee or Manning?
I watched that. I was pissing myself when he said ..Quote. I don't trust these politicians in the Brexit negotiations.Theyre the kind of people that would go into DFS and come out having paid full price for a Sofa
One of my old bosses at Fenners was called Stuart Lee. If he is still alive he will be in his middle 80s. It can't possibly be him...but he was a bit of a comedian
It's about time I had a lady doctor. If I'm gonna have my balls lifted and checked out I would prefer a female lifting and checking outer.
