This. There is no big master plan. There is just blundering about and looking after the bottom line when things don't work as planned.
Allam will look after the bottom line first, then try to deal with the **** he has created later. See last season for a decent example of this. I'm sure Ehab had intentions of signing 5 players by now. But he's incapable of actually trusting anyone enough to actually sign someone, unlike his old man who trusted Bruce deeply. So he just keeps stumbling around from one **** up to the next. Same with the sale - I believe they intended to sell last year, even after the Chinese failed to proper person test, but they simply don't know how to do it without trying one last ****-over that puts a buyer off. Ehab might wake up soon and see the consequences of his actions. Or perhaps not.
So we could be the same as last season, we'll spend but in the January window just,to avoid relegation.
Indeed but that reason is down to the same factor...Ehab Players and agents know what he's like so will avoid him until the last day of the window when we are desperate
You can make a lot of money by making a bold decision, even a really daft bold decision, and then dealing ruthlessly with the ****ty consequences. That's how apparently stupid people get rich, and how apparently smart people stay poor!
There can only be so many agents representing the players. They must have all realised by now that he's a bigger **** than his dad. Any decent agent will be advising his players to stay clear of Ehab. Seriously if you were a pro footballer would you come here? Tom was allegedly offered a better deal to stay & still did one. Word gets round, it's a small community. Nobody wants to come. Next for the Allam's? Hopefully a legal battle with the PL when they withhold the parachute payment.
I think there is a plan - Plan A was to sell us as a PL team for big money, for whatever reason, that plan went tits up. Plan B (option not taken) invest BIG money again this season to get us back in the PL allowing them to revert back to Plan A - Plan B is way too risky, Plan C is sell all assets, trouser the parachute money for two seasons before walking away with whatever they can get for a Championship/L1 club. If I were them ......... Plan C looks best for me.
City are starting to be mocked outside the East Yorkshire bubble now, as seen on Twatter. The more of a joke we look, the lower the calibre of larker we can get, obvs. So even if Ehab does decide to finally get serious about it and throw some wad around, we're not in a commanding position. This is all incompetence, which is an Ehab trait. His Dad wasn't incompetent, just bloody minded to his detriment in the end. Unless he comes to the fold again, or someone can influence the little richboy in a different direction, then it's a write off I think. And that will result in smaller returns for the Allan family when they finally choose to sell.
Not enough assets for plan C, he's sold most of them already and not covered half the debt and we still need a squad for next season to even guarantee we get the parachute money, so much of that will still go in wages when we eventually do sign players. And we will eventually sign players.
Is this Ehab's revenge for being booed at Wembley.?? Pity the little **** didn't trip up and break his neck.
Seems the stumbling block is the decision on whether it's to be the Allam East Stand or the Allam North Stand when they do the stand intro's. Just what I heard, don't shoot the messenger.
