Daws will be one of our highest earners. I can't imagine we'll offer him another playing contract on the same terms. There better value for money out there. Same with McGregor. We won't get any money for either of them any way
I reckon they're waiting to see how the season goes. If by some miracle we go up, he's no chance of getting a deal
He's good to have a round and more than capable of stepping in. I do think he has declined a bit and alarmingly that seems to be his brain that has deteriorated, must be all those headers from winning just about every single aerial ball that goes near him taking their toll, but we're seeing him neither here nor there getting pulled and twisted around and strung up like a kipper. We might have seen him get outrun to a ball behind in years gone by but nothing like this.
Second that, seems to remember we turned down £1.5 or £2M bid from Lesta for him, and just after that he had this injury. Football is often a matter of fate.
Hull City to offer Abel Hernandez a new deal in a bid to avert his summer departure http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-offer-abel-hernandez-675606
We've reportedly offered him new deals numerous times. He might sign this time I guess due to his injury but who knows.
'A one-year extension was then triggered last December to tie Hernandez down until June 2018 but vice chairman Ehab Allam last week admitted he had expected the Uruguay international to depart the KCOM Stadium until he was struck down by an Achilles injury a fortnight before the transfer deadline.' I would have LOVED to have been a fly on the wall when Ehab The Idiot was told that Abel was going to out for six months, and to have seen his ****ing hissy fit when he realised that he'd potentially lost £20M as he'd not got him tied to a longer deal or extension. What comes around...
