Pundit reminds Neil Warnock that Bristol City 'detest him' and hits back at Cardiff City manager's 'mind games' In a column for the Bristol Post , he said: "If Neil Warnock is playing mind games it means he is worried about Bristol City. The Bristol City-leaning pundit said: "I don't think Neil would mind me saying that no one likes him at Bristol City Former Bristol City star Leroy Rosenior believes Neil Warnock's "mind games" mean he's worried about the upcoming Severnside Derby — and has reminded the Cardiff City boss about the animosity which will greet him at Ashton Gate. The Bluebirds manager claimed his team will be underdogs going into the clash rivals Bristol City, which sees second in the Championship take on fourth. But Rosenior has warned the Robins not to get wound up by Warnock's antics on Saturday lunchtime. The former striker is familiar with Warnock's methods and believes the Cardiff boss will do everything he can to get under the skin of his opponents. "Everything Neil says is tongue in cheek, don’t take anything Neil says seriously, and (Bristol) City need to stay away from the mind games. "There is a little bit of history around this game and little bit of history around Neil Warnock as well. "I don’t think Neil would mind me saying that no one likes him at Bristol City, they absolutely detest him. But the thing with Neil is he feeds off that and he thrives on that. "His antics at the side of the pitch just wind people up. He loves just getting under the skin of people." Rosenior has also suggested Bristol City haven't missed Lee Tomlin this season., he said: "If Neil Warnock is playing mind games it means he is worried about Bristol City. The playmaker, who crossed the Severn Estuary in a controversial £1.5million summer move to the Welsh capital, could be another who gets a hostile reception from the Bristol faithful. Tomlin made an impact on his return to the Cardiff team against Ipswich in midweek and is in contention to start against the Robins. But Rosenior added: "When you go back to the start of the season everyone was desperately upset about Lee Tomlin leaving the club and the feeling was our neighbours had nicked him off us. "But I don’t think he gives you something different enough to have had a positive effect on City’s season if he was there." http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/.../pundit-reminds-neil-warnock-bristol-13851973

First time they have been biting all week, they're getting worried lads... please log in to view this image
Wiz - worry might be the wrong word pal - concerned maybe a better one. Can't see much beyond it's a football game that either side could win. Dislike of Warnock wont influence the result one bit, but his experience could. If it is worry, then from that article I'd say most of it is over that side of the Bridge.
its only a game another one in a few weeks either team will be over the result by then anyway panto season starts in a month or 2 !
I'ts always the same when Colin comes to Ashton Gate, same old manipulative cunning comments before the game and then trying to be our best buddy after 90 mins, he'll do the same with his next club.
One life live it .. he takes it as it comes adds humour, is fairly good at his job, and invites peeps to be communicative by his comments and attitudes...
I like Warnock, so the Evil Post is incorrect - and didn’t he once say he would like to manage us one day? There is a rivalry full of pantomime banter in our relationship with him and I love it. I hope no one spoils it by going to far - like mentioning his wife or lumping him one.
She has cancer John and good luck to her and him.. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/how-britains-gloom-bravery-wifes-12022296
I didn't know this - hopefully the more moronic element of our supporters don't get wind of this and make something of it, as it'd make everyone associated with the club look bad. In fact, if anyone had a 'good luck' banner or something, that'd be a nice touch of class. Football's a great arena in which we can revel in competition and rivalrys, but ultimately it's only a game and some things (such as cancer) are much more important.
Never disliked Warnock, wish he managed down here many times. The dislike for him Is because he gets the better of us 9 times out of 10..
Don’t think he knew about her so can’t knock him on that one. He’s definitely not someone who would do that. But I hope people don’t chant stuff about that. My aunt has terminal cancer so it’s not just Warnock it’s going to affect it’s also a lot of others. It’s one thing that no one should chant about or laugh about.
